I’ve always loved having something to work toward. A goal to chase, a dream to build, something hard enough to challenge me. I love the process of something hard.

But in this past season, I’m learning I can chase big dreams and still slow down. I can push myself physically while remembering that my worth was never found in what I accomplish.

I want to build. I want to dream. I want to do hard things. But more than anything, I want to be faithful with this season, steward what God has given me, and be present.

Because the goal was never just to build a life I love.. it’s to actually live it too.

114th out of total 169 total Tri-athletes

I’m walking away from my first triathlon experience with so much gratitude.

Grateful for my body and no serious injuries post race recovery, grateful for my friends and family who came to cheer me on, and to the people behind the scenes who made it possible for me to race lending their time, resources, support, and encouragement✨🫶 Chris and Linda you know who you are!

I had my doubts and challenges before this race but I chose to show up and I crossed the finish line. And that I’m proud of.

This is wellness to me. Not just looking strong, but building a body and mind that allow me to experience life fully. To keep learning, growing, exploring, and doing hard things.

Here’s to being a beginner again. To choosing courage over comfort. And to celebrating what our bodies can DO, not just how they look. 🤍

One finish line, a thousand reasons to be grateful✨

3rd triathlon after two weeks out from Kokopelli this past weekend.
.
This time I had the privilege to race amongst friends & making new friends during the race.
.
Although I placed 3rd 🥉 in my category, it was really about all the sacrifices and time spent during a training that really paid off.
.
To me it was sharing small moments of joy watching everyone come out.
@bbsctri brought the best in the triathlon community through challenges.
.
Some people have different reasons why they race but you can’t buy the satisfaction after crossing that finish line 🏁.
.
Until next race.. I just want to say thanks for my supporter that came out 🙏

Team Monroe triathlon relay.🥇Major started us off with an amazing swim. Jeff did great on the bike portion. And I did my best to finish off the run. It was the first time all 3 of us raced together, so really was a special one. 💙
