🎓 What does life look like after graduation from Brevard College? On Friday, alumni returned to campus to share their answers with the next generation of Tornados. 🌪️ Brevard Career Advantage and the Brevard College Alumni Association welcomed alums back to campus to share their career journeys with current students to kick off Homecoming Weekend 2026. Visiting alumni offered insight into how their time at BC helped shape their professional paths and lives. With at least 120 students in attendance, the Academic Quad was buzzing with conversation, connections and networking. One important takeaway? You don’t have to know exactly where you’re headed to find your way. Alumni shared how their paths often took unexpected turns, demonstrating how a Brevard College education helps students develop the skills, self-awareness and sense of purpose to navigate life after graduation. Thank you to BC alumni for sharing their experiences and helping current students imagine what’s possible in the future! 💙🌪️

📌 A moment worth pinning! 📌 Senior Pinning is always a special reminder that the college experience is about more than the moments that happen in the classroom. 💙 This year’s seniors chose the people who have made a meaningful impact on their Brevard College journey to place their senior pins during Friday’s ceremony, sharing stories and words of gratitude along the way. As they look ahead to graduation, the Class of 2027 took a moment to reflect on the people, memories, and connections that have helped shape their time at BC. 🎓🌪️ For the full album, visit the link in our bio! 📸 credit: Photos 2, 5, 11, 14, and 19 by Isabella Zambuto ‘28 @iz_photography_25

🌪️ Another year, another reason to celebrate what makes BC special. 🌪️ For the second consecutive year, Brevard College has been named a College of Distinction, earning national, private college, and North Carolina honors for our commitment to engaged, experiential education! 🎉 This year, BC joins an esteemed group of colleges and universities recognized for creating meaningful, student-centered educational experiences, including Carnegie Mellon, Davidson, Emory, Johns Hopkins, NYU, Rice, UNC–Chapel Hill, Notre Dame, and Wake Forest. With one of the largest enrollments in College history, new programs in Artificial Intelligence Management and Engineering Science, new graduate programs, and an annual undergraduate research conference, the momentum at Brevard College continues. And at the heart of it all are the Four Distinctions, the key areas used to recognize colleges that create meaningful, student-centered educational experiences: Engaged Students, Great Teaching, Vibrant Community, and Successful Outcomes. Tyson Schritter, COO of Colleges of Distinction, noted that “Brevard College has built an environment where students are supported and challenged in ways that translate into real academic, professional and personal outcomes.” That’s what makes Brevard College truly distinct. 💙 For more information and to view Brevard College’s Colleges of Distinction profile, visit the link in our bio.
