Miss Empire state of mind 🌃✨

Hi everyone! My name is Giovanna Ward and I’m beyond honored to serve as Miss Empire 2027!

A huge thank you to @missmanhattanorg, panelists, volunteers, and fellow contestants for an amazing pageant day! I’m so excited and lucky to spend the year with this incredible team alongside my new sister queens @missmanhattan_ny & @misslibertyny!

This title is an absolute dream come true for me, and I can’t wait to make the most out of this year!

Thank you to sponsors @eddiejanephoto & @petaleonfloral for your generous support 🤍

My Community Service Initiative, Arts All Across: Advocating for Accessibility, Inclusivity, & Opportunity, works to ensure that all students have access to quality arts education.

I wholeheartedly believe access to the arts is a right, not a privilege. From working with hundreds of students across the East Coast to developing Title I curriculum and partnering with inclusive nonprofits, I’m committed to making the arts more accessible to all! 🎭🎨🩰

I earned my Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Contemporary Dance Performance from Boston Conservatory at Berklee in 2025, graduating Magna Cum Laude! 🎓

My four years at BOCO were some of the most transformative of my life. I grew immensely as an artist, met some of my best friends, and was given the tools and experiences that truly set me up for success. I’m forever grateful for the people and memories that made this chapter so special!

The sisterhood is my FAVORITE part of @missamerica! I’ve formed some of the most special and lasting relationships throughout my four years in this organization. I’m so excited to return to Miss New York this year, reunite with old friends, and make so many new ones along the way! 💖

I feel most at home when I’m performing onstage!

I’ve been dancing since I was three years old and now work as a professional dancer in NYC. No two days look the same, and while you hear the word “no” more than you’d like, I wouldn’t have it any other way! Chasing my dreams has taught me more about tenacity and resilience than I ever could have imagined, and I feel incredibly lucky to chase those dreams in th
