Small steps add up. 💚 You don’t have to change your whole life to start feeling healthier. Maybe today it’s a walk through the farmers market, trying a new fruit, or picking up fresh veggies for dinner.

We’re proud to partner with the Butte County Local Food Network, an organization working to make healthy, local food more accessible across our community!

Did you know they offer:

🥕 A 100% Market Match for eligible EBT/CalFresh purchases on food (with the purchase of at least one fruit or vegetable), helping families stretch their grocery budget through their Farmers Market Mobile.

🍅 Free Food Stands located throughout Butte County, where neighbors share extra homegrown produce with the community.

🌻 Community gardens, shared meals, workshops, and other opportunities to connect with local food and the people who grow it.

FRESH PICKED TODAY! Do you have a lot of mouths to feed? Found some squash and zucchini that could do the job! Peaches are so yummy! Would make a lovely addition to some nice ice cream from @ridgetopparlor. We have flowers for your table and herbs to add some full flavor to your meals! Gates open sunrise to sunset. Just be sure to close it in your way out! The 🦌 know just where to enter! Feel free to walk around and pick or cut food, just keep making noise to help ward off any snakes if they’re laying around. 253 Burden Terrace in Paradise.

Went and shared at a local high school in Paradise,Ca
We taught a Grafting lesson with @northstate_crfg to all the students they also grafted different varieties of apples onto m-111 rootstock.

Then, thanks too @davewilsonnursery For donating fruit trees thru @oneseedatatimeinc we were able to share some more.

What we really were talking about is hope, dreams , avenues to have conversations over food.

even eight years later, you can still see the effects of the Camp fire on this community.
We can’t wait to come back thank you @bclocalfood for setting the day up.
