Mt. Prevost was definitely one of my favourite riding spots on Vancouver Island!
I wish we had public enduro/shuttle trails like that back home 🥲

🔥 THE OVERALL STANDINGS ARE HEATING UP 🔥
Four rounds down and the CEL overall points race is getting seriously interesting. Some new leaders, some tight battles, and plenty of racing still to come. 👀
30–39 Men: Campbell McIver has taken over the lead in our biggest category, but the race is far from over.
30–39 Women: Three riders are sitting on a perfect 400 points — Kira Lewis, Hayley Lukacs and Shayna Quibell. This one is going to be GOOD. 🔥
40–49 Men: Olivier Markon leads the way with some seriously consistent racing.
40–49 Women: Another three-way tie at the top with Neli Naydenova, Christine Sharp and Nicky Pacas all sitting at 400 points.
50+ Men: Tarsch Bakos has stormed into the lead after winning both Cypress Hills AND Toby Creek. Andrew Keen sits 2nd, with Jeff Litster in 3rd.
Pro Junior: After three incredibly consistent rounds, Nolan Weiss finally got his win at Toby Creek — and remains on top of the overall.
Pro Junior Women: Larissa Rennick has launched herself into 1st after strong results in the last two rounds.
Pro Men: Emmett Hancock is on an absolute tear. Back-to-back wins at Cypress Hills and Toby Creek have put him comfortably in 1st, with Robin Jansen 2nd and Lief Rodgers 3rd.
Pro Women: Hannah Gillcrist continues to hold the top spot.
U17 Men: Paxton Hunter remains in 1st, but Shea Brettelle is charging hard in 2nd, with Cohen Dueck holding 3rd.
U17 Women: Ayla Musselman Bell continues to lead the way.
Four rounds down. Two to go.
Nothing is locked in yet. The battles are getting tighter, and the final two rounds are going to be 🔥🔥🔥

ROUND 4. TOBY CREEK. 🏔️🔥
Still buzzing from this one.
Toby Creek was absolutely unreal. Riders climbed way up into the alpine, bikes on shoulders, legs burning, lungs working — then turned around and sent it down some of the most epic, world-class trails we’ve raced all season.
The alpine was next level, but dropping out of the scree and into the trees was just as good. Fast, technical, rough, rowdy… and unforgettable.
It was a BIG day that took everything out of the riders. Exactly the kind of day that leaves you exhausted, stoked and already wanting to do it again.
Saturday’s slalom was a blast, but nothing beats a full day of racing in the alpine at Toby Creek.
Perfect weather. Smoke held off. Unreal views. Happy, destroyed riders.
Toby Creek… you were EPIC. 🤘🏔️

(Trying a different format in this post, documenting our last bit of the Okanagan trip. See all the goodies we brought back at the end slides)

The sky was super smoky all the way between Vernon until just past Merrit. I had a lot of trouble just breathing. The sky cleared up the closer we were to Hope. We were lucky to find a new secret dip spot called Falls Lake; it is a small detour to drive to the parking lot, and then another 900m hike up to the lake. Water was super clear (maybe around 18 degrees) - would consider to even do a one-night camping here in the future, but we need to plan out having everything in backcountry backpacks as the hike there is narrow and steep.

On another note, we found out that @motherlovekombucha is brewed and canned right in Kelowna. We did stop by for tasting on Thursday. Our favourites were the seasonal ones (Cool Current kombucha and Haskap Fireworks water kefir). They don’t have those canned, so we decided to get a cup to go for the road. Best decision of the day; would definitely this again on our next Okanagan trip!

We also swung by @tbafarms for fruits, vegetables, and trying out their strawberries jam. This is our second visit, and had great experience both times 🥰

THE FINAL ROUND IS SET. 🔥

The 2026 Canadian Enduro League season finale is headed to RED Mountain Resort, in partnership with KCTS.

Staged at RED Mountain Resort, racers will depart into Rossland’s trails and finish on some of the best terrain RED has to offer. We could not be more stoked to bring the League to the West Kootenays for some of the best riding in BC.

The stage is set for the final showdown of the CEL, in one of the most beautiful fall settings out there.

Who’s taking the overall title this year? 👀

Mark your calendars. This one’s going to be unforgettable.
