HAPPY blessed 60th BIRTHDAY 🎂 TO the KING of New Jack Swing , my favorite producer and my friend-- TEDDY RILEY. 🌟
@teddyriley1

I went from being a super fan of GUY and BLACKSTREET-- since the late 80s-- to actually working with this icon -- and booking him on 4 SOLD OUT SHOWS at the legendary @yoshis_oak .

Thank you -@nisespirations for all you did to help these amazing shows run so well.

His band was outstanding and I absolutely love all his singers and special guests he brought!!

“The Way You Make Me Feel” is one of Michael Jackson’s most recognizable hits from his iconic 1987 album Bad. Released as a single in November 1987, the track quickly became another major success, blending pop, funk, R&B, and dance into a groove that still feels instantly recognizable.

What makes the song stand out is Jackson’s playful vocal delivery, infectious rhythm, and unmistakable performance style. His ability to combine music and movement became a huge part of the song’s identity, making it a natural fit for his legendary live shows.

The music video made the song even more memorable, featuring Jackson in a nighttime neighborhood setting and showcasing an extended dance sequence. Decades later, “The Way You Make Me Feel” remains one of the defining songs of the Bad era and a perfect example of Jackson’s unforgettable stage presence.
