Anastasia was one of the movies I watched almost every time whenever I would visit my grandpa’s house. Getting to live in that world for the summer with a lot of my good friends and some new faces was definitely an experience I will not forget.

There are simply not enough words to describe what this production meant to me. After profusely sobbing in the nosebleeds of a broadway theater when I was 12, Anastasia quickly became a dream show for me. I will say, I never even thought about the possibility that I could be considered for one of the featured dancers. For those of you who have known me for a while, you know that the absolute last thing I consider myself to be is a dancer. This show pushed me out of my comfort zone in ways that I could only have dreamed of even just a year ago. I am used to worrying about memorizing lines or being able to hit a note correctly, and just resolving that the dancing aspect will be what it is. My entire job in this show, of course, was to dance. Reading the cast list, I laughed. I truly did not believe in myself or my abilities at all. In the end, being given a chance, and being SEEN as a performer for what felt like the first time in years, was such a pivotal moment for me - as a person and as an artist. I feel that I have grown so much through this show. I have made friendships that I hope to keep forever. I have made connections with so many beautiful artists that I hope to work with in the future. I have rediscovered my love for performing, remembering why I ever decided I may want to do this in the first place. Most shockingly, I have discovered, for the first time in my life, a deep love and appreciation for dance. To everyone who worked on this show, although it may sound like a cliche, you really have changed my life. Thank you for being nothing but encouraging, and for genuinely making me feel loved and valued. You have no idea how much I needed this. I love you all, and I will never forget Anastasia 🤍🤍

It has been one enchanting evening after another (And we’re still not done) 👀

But now we are all feeling the end of the journey coming very fast… 😭

It’s always a little bittersweet to receive back our photos from @krescentstudios because that means we’ve made it nearly all the way and tbh… not sure we like the conflict in our souls over this time! 🥹

So for now, we pray you will stay and enjoy our last 2 performances and ooooh and ahhhh over the work every single human being has put into this extraordinary performance. 🥰

Will we see you tonight? If not, we will tomorrow as we finish this thing out on a very very strong note 💪🏽🎶

Good grief what a weekend!!! 🤭

I think it’s safe to say our little show isn’t a little show at this point! We just ate a 9 course meal WITH dessert!

The love we are receiving from our community is ridiculous and the feedback we’ve received?
Unbelievable 🤯

Arts One couldn’t be more proud of the work this cast/crew have put into making this a summer to remember.

We’re gonna take a couple days to gather our energy so we can blow this coming weekend out of the water 😌

Till then, THANK YOU EVERYONE for being a part of the biggest summer we’ve ever had!
