WE CAME. WE SAW. WE SWEATED AND WON.

Shoutout to my team who toughed it out and played in record high heat. Shoutout to our opponents too. Thanks to everyone who braved it to support!

That wraps up my first season running the Women’s Division of casasoccer. Maybe next year the women can play inside the stadium too. Maybe next year Casa will add a female officer to their mix and actually give her some say. Maybe next year our Woman of the Match will be called skilled instead of pretty. Maybe next year our style of play will be called talented instead of sexy. Maybe next year the men won’t suggest dating apps as a form of recruitment. Maybe next year instead of being sexualized and objectified, we’ll be respected as women soccer players.
But maybe that’s all for next year. For now, we’ll keep playing 🤷‍♀️⚽️ Shoutout to @_amykarp @the_atrain91 @vstick for all their support on the board as we try to bring the Women’s Division to an equal playing field
