POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Some things are worth taking a while to find. Not because they’re rare for the sake of it, but because they just take time to make, or track down.

An antique you finally stumble on after years of half-looking. Fabric someone had to weave by hand. A piece from a maker who’s spent decades getting good at one thing. Furniture built for the room it’s going in, not picked off a shelf.

None of that shows up on your doorstep tomorrow, and I think that’s the point. It comes with a little history attached. You know where it came from, who made it, why it’s there.

In our client’s breakfast room, this embroidered Chelsea Textiles fabric becomes the focal point. We used it for drapery and coordinating pillows, thoughtfully highlighting the beautiful leading edge detail that makes the textile so special.

Guys, a lot of you aren’t living in a bad place — you’re living in an unfinished one. Half the things that made your old house feel like a home quietly left with her, and now it looks like you just moved in and never finished the job. That’s unsettling for you after a divorce, and very obvious when you start dating again. When a woman walks into that, it doesn’t feel casual. It feels like you’re a project and she’s going to have to do the work.

Whether your goal is to feel better in your own space or to attract a high-quality woman, you need your shit handled. This example isn’t about the furniture — I work with all levels of homes and aesthetics. I’m not an interior designer, but I’m very good at the easy updates that make a place feel settled fast. And if you want to take it further, I know exactly who to bring in to do it right.

If this sounds familiar, send me a message and we’ll see if it’s a fit.
