“Thinks in scents
Delirious, tonka
Aldehyde, incense
And cement
Garden of angel’s trumpet
pendulums reaching down from heaven
Wet, turned down for what,
loss of faith”

Meet Maiya!!

One of the beautiful poets/ artists featured at Whimsy this August.

Maiya’s practice is based in perfume and scents, writing and making art about the connection between scent and memory, I asked her about some of her fav scents and why she loves using that nose so much.

Diptych at my desk is a new video series I’m starting! With the help of my housemates ring light and an officeworks influencer mic, I bring you a different artist/poet’s story every few days until whimsy on August 16th!

Check out @be_good_be_wise works at Whimsy! Tix available in bio :)
