✨50 years in one Badass Night ✨

3 weeks ago I hosted my 50th birthday dinner at a gorgeous Sandbridge beachfront home with some of my favorite people who’ve filled my 5 decades with love, joy, fun & full-fledge shenanigans 😝

We had an incredible Chef create a delicious 3 course meal, wonderful wait staff & a bartender who kept the cocktails flowing.
Most importantly ~ amazing company.

I added a surprise element to dinner with everyone being assigned a “mission” - so you can imagine the nonstop laughter. It was glorious.

After dinner My talented girls gifted us with 3 songs, we watched in awe, sang along & just enjoyed.
Braedin & Graesin, thank you! It was such a perfect treat for us all. 🫶🏼

I have so many incredible people in my life & it was so difficult not to seek out a table for 100, my usual crowd for my typical themed parties, but this was one night I’ll remember forever.

In a world where things often aren’t so, it was simply ~ perfect. 🥹

I have completed my first Queen sized blanket as a birthday gift to myself 💁🏻‍♀️✨

I saw this variegated yarn in June & immediately needed to see what one skein would look like. After that first huge granny square, I couldn’t stop. A little less than 8 skeins of variegated yarn & 6 other skeins of the main colors in this project were all I needed to really shut my brain off & explore my creativity. No pattern, just a lot of trial & error.

Grateful to my family, friends, & students who listened to me yap about this blanket for the last 40 days or so 😂

ITS FINALLY DONE! 😭🥳✅
