Welcome to our fifth edition of @thecreatormagazine_ - ROOTS💚 this publication looks at the concept of roots and its plethora of potential meaning across three core themes:

SHIFTING
CORPOREAL
UNTETHERED

The pieces featured in this edition truly blew me away and encouraged me to question- how do I connect to the natural world? What do I feel emotionally ‘rooted’ to? And are my roots keeping me small- keeping me trapped?

From lyrical musings on cèilidh’s and Scottish identity in @r.w.thorne poem ‘The Cèilidh’ to @isabelbeiboer depiction of the raw power of nature in her photography submission ‘Rainbow Falls’, there truly is something for every reader. As our last edition of the academic year, I couldn’t be prouder of The Creator Team: the hard work, creativity, brainstorming and laughter are invaluable!

Thank you to everyone who made this (and every!) edition a possibility💚

To access this edition, click the linktree link in our bio, check your inbox if you are signed up to our mailing list or copy and paste the link below! The publication will also be up our website asap🌱

Happy reading (and rooting) 🌱🌱,
Molly Reed (she/her), (Co-Editor and Co-President)
