January was the first month I started feeling like myself since giving birth— probably because I stopped pumping, we hired a part-time nanny, I started doing physical therapy and working out again, and have healed in so many ways. The postpartum fog has seemed to have lifted substantially, and I am soaking up the pure JOY of being attached to this smiley girl. Though the month was so insanely cold, we had the most fun we’ve had in months, celebrating our best friends and Molly’s first milestones. So far she’s very chatty and wears a lot of pink. Who would have thought?? 🙃

My word for 2025 is “bloom,” and the theme of our baby girl’s nursery is the tulip, so the sweet “baby in bloom” tulip-adorned shower that @debralittleson & @jacquelinelittleson threw yesterday was so fitting and so special for our Thumbelina, the little fairy born in the flower 🌷 The details, the food, the games (!!), this video sums it up in one short minute. 🥹 Going to share lots more this week. Elevating my feet in the meantime 🫠😂

Two weeks ago we threw the surprise of Johnny’s life and I’m still not okay. Save this post for my mini travel guide! Now I’m off duty until he turns 40 😂🏴‍☠️🍹

🏝️STAY: Rent a villa through @destinationstj. We highly recommend @dejaviewstjohn, most insane views EVER. Also incredibly clean, very comfy beds, soo much outdoor hang space, & truly everything you need. Could not recommend it more. We will be back!!

🥭EAT: @zozosatcaneelbay for the most incredible dinner views and a phenomenal menu, @morgansmango for a nice dinner in Cruz Bay, @skinnylegsvi for painkillers & burgers, @hightidebarandseafoodgrill for breakfast, and order food from Chef Tony to be delivered to your villa! 🚤PLAY: Rent a boat through @flyawaychartersvi and visit @limeoutvi for swim up tacos or the BVIs (Jost Van Dyke was on our list, next time!!), beach hop (Trunk and Honeymoon are musts for swimming, and Waterlemon and Maho for snorkeling with turtles!), and visit the Beach Bar at night for drinks and dancing!

Save this post: Here are the details on the villa where we stayed on St. John! It’s called @dejaviewstjohn (appropriately named because it was the most insane view I’ve ever seen from a villa!). We worked with @destinationstj which allowed us to book directly with the owner and bypass the booking fees that Airbnb or Vrbo has. 👏🏻

Villa Details:

🚙 10 minute drive from Cruz Bay ferry dock/all the major shops + restaurants
☁️ 70 stories above Rendezvous Bay on its own private drive
🛌 Sleeps up to 17 people! (6 bedrooms with king beds + a bunk room with 6 additional beds, ALL with en-suite bathrooms)
🍹Outdoor kitchen, bar, dining table, & two fridges for ultimate BBQs/cocktailing
💦 Waterfall pool + hot tub overlooking stunning vistas
☀️ Outdoor sectionals, lounges, covered day bed, & hammock: so many places to hang (also ping pong + a pool table)
🏝️ Comes with a ton of beach chairs, towels, and coolers
📀: Outdoor speaker system & flat screen TVs in every room: we watched some Netflix at night!

The end 😭🥹 The surprise of a lifetime for Johnny’s 30th birthday… So much love to his siblings and the sweetest friends for flying in to spend the long weekend with us on such a special island. We are so lucky to know and love them. From trying to keep this a surprise to having everyone fly in during a winter storm, God’s hand has been in every part of making this dream come true.
