This was a quick and easy but beautiful read, I’ve had it on my tbr for awhile now and I’m so glad I finally got to it!
To start off this book has amazing chronic illness representation, Lo, our female main character has fibromyalgia. Throughout the book this comes up a lot in a very realistic and meaningful way. I loved how supportive Wes (our mmc) was and it was clear how much love he had for Lo. Their love story and happily ever after was a long time coming and I loved how they came back to each other.
Wes is a Youtuber who’s on the come up but has a bit of a heartbreaker rep which get him sent back to his hometown by his PR team in order to clean up his image. While they he runs back into his longtime best friend Lo. She is an author who was also working as a full-time nanny however, Riz recently let go and now struggling with medical insurance. After some time a plan starts to form, a fake marriage, it’ll give Lo the ability to get her prescriptions and see doctors and Wes will be able to clean up his image to the public. A marriage of strictly convenience, what could go wrong…

a little summer stack because i can’t believe it’s already the end of august!! this has been one of my favorite summers & i just want to bask in the sunshine and warm weather as long as possible!!

in all reality i am SO excited for fall and cooler weather and spook season and soup season and more!! but its so hard to say goodbye to an amazing summer, here’s to hoping i can squeeze in one more beach day🤞🏼🌞

But now, not only is she the Blue’s new team photographer, she’s moved in next door to the team’s pitcher. When Callie and Will find themselves tiptoeing the line between being friends and wanting more, they must decide whether their relationship is worth risking the jobs they love. Because as it turns out, dating your coworkers at the Boston Blues is strictly prohibited.

First off… obsessed. Second off… I ate this up!! Spicy, sweet, all the feels! Callie is 26, little sister to the team’s catcher, & is now the team photographer. Will is 28, a starting pitcher, and rides a motorcycle… What more could you ask for?! I loved the side characters, especially Will’s sisters & their group chat! Will is the perfect cinnamon roll MMC with a DIRTY mouth. I cannot wait for Coach Me, out soon!

I loved meeting @author_molliegoins at @beachsidebookfest this year! I can’t wait to see her at future events 🫶🏻

long time no [book] thirst trap 📚💦

i’ve been MIA thanks to becoming a first-time homeowner/moving, vacation mode, and the unholy chaos of not knowing which box my swimsuit or serotonin is in

but i made it to the lake. i forgot my kindle. and my husband made a walmart run to fetch me some emergency smut, which honestly feels like love in its purest form 💖

poolside or lakeside, fictional hockey boys are still my roman empire

Runaway Love👰‍♀️🏃‍♀️💗💋

I read this book in preparation for beachside book fest and meeting the queen Melanie Harlow this past May. This was my first book by her and I was so pleasantly surprised with it! I went into it expected to like it because all of the tropes honestly are everything I love, but I enjoyed it even more than I expected to!

This was a super easy read, though not to say mindless, because they’re definitely was a lot to the plot/story but it definitely was an easy book to follow along with and very lovable characters! you start off with meeting Veronica on the day of her wedding and let’s just say, the day does not go one would hope… She is basically looking to restart her life and kind of figuring out where her place in the world is, with no real idea where to start. on the other side of town is Austin, a single dad who is looking for help over the summer with his daughter so that he can continue working. In reality these two’s paths should never cross, but they did and one could say they did for a reason… watching the development of both of these characters and them slowly find themselves and find comfort with each other was really beautiful.
There was honestly so many little elements of this book that I really enjoyed I loved Austin’s daughter and the role she played in the story. Overall this was a super cute read and I definitely fell in love with our characters and the town and Cherry Tree🍒🌳
