Weekend vibes, coming right up. 🍙 Quick behind-the-scenes: that reel you just watched? That’s what I actually do for a living. Twenty years of making stuff like that for clients @mckibillo, and I still had the most fun making one for my wife’s cooking. If you’ve been in, you know the deal: warm rice, good company, and Miyuki cooking everything from scratch behind the counter. If you haven’t yet, come find out. Onigiri, sandos, karaage, all made to order, every Saturday & Sunday inside @quinnsrestnrant . See you at the counter. 11:30–3, 330 Main St. #RiceThing #Onigiri #japanesefood #beaconnewyork #beaconmainst

This Saturday, June 13, from 4–7 PM, join us for the opening reception of The Verge of Collapse, a solo exhibition by Super Secret Projects member William A. Loeb (@williamtheloeb). In this unconventional photographic show, Loeb turns his lens toward the endless, often unanswerable question: “What, exactly, is wrong with me, anyway?” Come celebrate the opening, meet the artist, and spend an afternoon with a show that embraces uncertainty, contradiction, and the beautifully messy experience of being human. The Verge of Collapse will be on view through July 4.

What happens when science catches up to something artists have always known? Join us for the next ArtBook Club at Super Secret Projects as we discuss Your Brain on Art: How the Arts Transform Us by Ivy Ross and Susan Magsamen. Through research, storytelling, and real-world examples, this book explores the powerful ways art shapes our minds, bodies, and communities—and helps answer the question of why creative practice matters. 📚 Monday, June 15 🕖 7:00–8:30 PM 📍 Super Secret Projects Diana and Marin will facilitate an open, welcoming conversation about the book, art-making, and the role creativity plays in our lives. Need a copy? Our friends at Stanza Books are offering 10% off when you mention SSP. Reserve your spot through our website. We look forward to discussing art with you.
