Cassius Merlin, the first year of your life and the fastest of my own is officially concluded and I am left to wonder what impression it has left upon your heart. I believe your mother and I have served you well, and although this is an era of your life you’re unlikely to hold any memory of at all, we will bear it in mind for you. In time we will have thousands of pictures to show you and hundreds of songs to sing to you of the joy you brought into our life. I don’t know what I could have possibly expected out of fatherhood but my own reckoning could never have conceived as grand an experience as this. Happy birthday buddy. I love you forever

What’s better than getting a tin type taken with your best friend 🥀✨ Thank you Orin @beacontintype for adding some whimsy and brightness to this world ❤️‍🩹 These photos mean absolutely everything to me, and I love my best friend so much 😭😭😭

I highly recommend getting your tin type taken, the artistry is so beautiful and raw! In a world of Facetune and AI slop, it’s amazing that I can hold a physical photo with so much history and chemistry behind it. This will always be better than any photo I have on my phone 🥹 Please go to @beacontintype if you are in the tristate area!!!
