Every experience is an opportunity to connect and grow. This past weekend was no exception. @pasadenaphotoarts participated in the 2nd annual @iphotofestival The young artists that we curated into the LIVE Open Show truly brought their authentic selves and delivered impactful conversations to those in the audience. And I learned how to speak into a mic! lol :) 🎤 @bealastudio and @cristinadass were still in town yesterday, so we had an impromptu brunch and photo session with @rollence_photo and I played with my iPhone. Looking forward to next year’s Inglewood Photo Festival and our OS call “When the Students Become the Trachers.” If you are studying photography and don’t want to miss this opportunity next year - go to PasadenaPhotographyArts.org and sign up for our newsletter 💜📷

What a weekend! Pasadena Photography Arts showcased our themed Open Show on Saturday at the Inglewood Photo Festival! Thank you to all who came out to support this great event 👏👏 We could not be more proud of our featured artists: Teala Avery, Jingyin Che, Tommy Milutin, and Christina Yao. These 4 young artists not only flew to LA from all over the country (and Canada) to be here, they also brought their A-games! They were incredibly articulate and generous of spirit sharing personal stories behind their projects. And we were given the extra treat of meeting John Simmons and Estevan Oriol. It was an honor to listen to their stories and passion for photography and the community. 📷💜 Big shoutout to everyone who made the second annual IPF a reality! We can’t wait to participate again next year! 📸 #inglewoodphotofestival #Pasadenaphotographyarts #openshow
