You won’t believe what happened to me today—I can hardly believe it myself.

I drove to the Boulderbar in Oberhausen today to finish a specific Level 8/9 boulder problem.
Since I couldn’t get any further than before, I tried a new level 8/9 boulder, which I also failed several times.

Then I thought I’d give a level 9/9 boulder a shot and quickly realized there was something to be had there.
So I made it my project and got a little further with every attempt.
I’d never completed a level 9/9 boulder before, and today I finally did it.
I worked my way through the route all the way to the last move, and I’m so incredibly happy and proud of it 😉🤙

On this cool level 7/9 boulder, the focus is on the mono hold—you absolutely have to use it, even if you don’t need it; otherwise, the top doesn’t count 😂
If possible, you should use the mono hold with both your right and left hands 😜🤙

Thanks so much for letting me test the route—it was fun!

Mittwoch 24.12.25 🎄🎁🎅🏼

Short Christmas session with @beansandchalk in Oberhausen.

I already tried this great level 7/9 boulder in the last session, but kept failing at the dynamic lower part.

Today, after a tip from the route setter himself, I was finally able to master the dynamic part, but once again didn’t think about the rest of the route. 🙈
Somewhat awkwardly, I managed to make it to the top after all. 😜🤙

Repost @beansandchalk
Sweet pear jam with a touch of chamomilla (floral).

Cant say enough how I like to brew outdoors.

I really enjoy technical gadgets and automation in general, but it is also cool to keep things simple.
