Wanted to share my progress on my #asweaterforsummer knit! It’s going slow but looking stunning and I think I’m on track to get it done and ready to wear for august which was my intention. I’ve been working like crazy on my butter yellow cardigan as well and it’s kind of became a 2nd summer knit for me because I’m so excited to wear it to combat the AC in my office at work! Got the week off and hoping to wrap it up and have it ready to go when I return next week!

I kind of forgot to properly honour my finished #sadietop here ✨
This piece is perfect for those breezy summer evenings, and I’ve already worn it sooo much. I also really enjoyed how fast it knit up thanks to the open gauge—it was such a satisfying make.

I whipped through my second sleeve last night after work, and finished the icord on the sleeves this morning. I’m so happy and proud of how much I learned with this pattern. My first time knitting lace, and twisted rib, and icord bind offs, not to mention all the new cast on methods I learned as well! I just need to wash and block and see how it fits after it inevitably grows. Hurray! 🎊

I’ve started and restarted my cotton longsleeve #RanunculusSweater about five times now. Despite my issues with this pattern, particularly in cotton yarn, I’m loving how it’s coming together now! I’m knitting with K&C Essential Cotton in White Sands, which is unfortunately very very lovely cotton yarn that will no longer be produced. 😭 For my first lace knit I think it’s looking quite nice!
