One year later…

It’s been one year since we brought Bois Night Out to life. We saw that there was a missing regular stage for kings in Sydney and so we did something about it.

A year on, Bois Night Out is still Sydney’s monthly Drag King Show and we are now joined by numerous other King shows!

One thing that has stood out has been the comments from the community. Bois Night Out has been a space for people to see awesome kings as well as meet people awesome. One group said they met at Bois Night Out and have now formed a a friend group who come every month 🥰🥰🥰

Nothing better than creating a thriving king scene and queer seen!

Let’s keep this King stage pumping, here’s to another year, come see Bois Night Out and support your local Kings.

🦇🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️ Supporting and strengthening our community takes all of us.

Our President & VP were proud to attend the Flying Bats Annual Trivia Night and Fundraiser, joining community members from across Sydney to help raise funds and support the incredible work of one of Australia’s longest-running LGBTQIA+ sporting clubs.

Thank you to the Flying Bats for everything you do, for making us feel incredibly welcomed and for a fantastic evening.

From sporting clubs to community organisations, events like this help create the spaces where LGBTQIA+ people can connect, belong, thrive and give back.

Congratulations to Sam, President of the Flying Bats, and Laura and everyone involved in bringing the night together, including hosts and Drag Kings Jim Junkie and Bear Back, who kept the room entertained and the competition fierce.
