Tokyo R&B Night

Gang reassembled after Pick-Your-Own-Adventure day and we got after it!

One of the benefits of travelling in a large group is discovery. My brothers has made a friend while playing basketball who pointed out the best party in town was happening in Shibuya,
so naturally we had to go check it out.

We were in Tokyo for a good time, not a long time and that’s exactly what we got. Vibes on vibes on vibes.

And it wouldn’t be a real night out if we didn’t stay out till the sun rise. We did.

The Best Japanese Denim

Looking for a one-of-a-kind experience to fill your upcoming trip to Tokyo? Head over to @daurmajeans for a hands on experience customizing your own pair of Japanese denim.

The jeans are the highest quality you can find on the market, and they source the material from the birthplace of Japanese denim. The team on site is attentive to every detail from fit to the metal options for buttons and even embroidery — nothing gets overlooked.

You’ll leave with a high quality pair of jeans, and an experience you can’t get anywhere else.

Tokyo Baby!

After 24 hours of flying we made it to Tokyo.
To avoid jet lag we got right after it, staying up till bedtime. And there was plenty to see. We explored the city by night and took the sights in.

But there’s plenty more to do on this trip so stay tuned.

9 Hours in Abu Dhabi

American Express makes travel easy. Would you believe me if I told you I only spent $30 to stay at the Ritz Carolton? Well, I did.

That’s one of the perks of the Fine Hotel and Resort Collection from Amex. They give you money to stay at their hotels every year.

If we had spent the night, Amex would’ve paid for breakfast too. But, we were only in town for a comfort break to stretch our legs before our 11 hour connection flight to Tokyo.

With a long haul trip like this, and several in the group travelling internationally for the first time, being able to gift this experience was my favourite part. Now, we can look back on this and remember the good times, the comfort, the laughs, & the food rather than being stuck in an airport for nine hours.

After splashing around in the pool and a quick nap, our group of eight had three different bathrooms to get ready in for dinner at a Michelin star restaurant on site where we had $150 credit to spend how we pleased before heading back to the airport and flying to Tokyo.

How’s that for a layover?
