You boys like Heavy Duties? 38 Thursday is here. I'm rocking out with my rebuilt 38/44. It's funny how there are objectively more convenient or more capable options, quite literally available to me as part of my stable.... yet...

It doesn't matter.

Part of me is imbued in this 38/44, she shoots too well, hell I just like the old gal!

I tried different stocks and straight didn't like them as much as the OG magnas with a Smith branded N grip adapter. The vibes and the using are too good. I've got her in a Rob Hipp holster. Carry ammo is generally the High Desert 140gr XTP 38. I'm carrying two loaders. I'm messing around both with Dade and Comp 1 style as well as both a button top variety from Rob Hipp and a Sidewinder from Rob Leahy.

The knife is a Delta Skinner from Polite But Dangerous Tools.

Today's drill? A rep of the OWSC at 15 yards, primary hand only as prescribed. I figured I'd use Steve' 125gr TMJ. It was a pass, just barely. The first shot I overcompensated for POI with lighter ammo. The remaining 5 clustered well with the final round clipping the stamp.

Do you EDC or would you EDC a @radianweapons RamJet? This one has been 100% reliable for me from day one! 124 grain and up. It’s also a game changer for making the 43X a much better shooter. Although I prefer ports one advantage of the comp is zero loss of velocity. Another advantage is the added weight on the end of the barrel which also@helps with muzzle flip. Ramjet plus 43X equals game changer 😮‍💨
