POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Brilliant collaborators Mychael Danna (@mychaeldanna) and Jeff Danna (@jeffdanna1) were supported on these films by a lovely group of folks, their music team: Nicholas Skalba (@nick_skalba), Jessica Rose Weiss (@jessicaroseweiss), Shirley Song (@the_song), and John Whynot (@beatlikeagoof) for @mgmstudios

Thank you so much to Whitney Martin and Gina Zimmitti at @zimmittimusicgroup who contracted me for these sessions!

Since the original score tracks aren’t available in the Instagram music library, this fun clip is from Christina Aguilera’s official promotional cover of the main theme song; Chris Douridas (@chrisdouridas), music supervisor.

My professors this semester are some of the most passionate, brilliant people I know, and it’s been an honor to study everything from Ravel to James Brown to The Stanley parable with them. Thank you guys so much!

SLANTED is out in theaters today! @slantedmovie

@amywangster created something really special with this movie. It’s sharp, funny, uncomfortable in the best way, and says so much about identity, belonging, and the pressures so many of us grow up with. As a Chinese-Australian who grew up navigating a lot of those same questions, this story resonated with me deeply!

It’s one of those films that will make you laugh, squirm, and think long after you leave.

I’m so so proud to have composed the score for this film. Huge thank you to you Amy, producers @goldenstate77 and @trevorwall2, @mountaintoppics, @hannahclarep, @anikevork the @foxentstudios music team, and last but not least, my amazing team who helped bring the score to life:

🎧 Music Editor — @stratboom
🎚 Score Mixer — @beatlikeagoof
🥁 Percussion — @quinnmusician
🥁 Additional percussion — @salsortdehors
🎚 Mastering Engineer - @idaniava

And my amazing manager, @nicemanagement ❤️

And massive thanks to @moritzbraunmusic and @malavikamusic for helping produce and sing the greatest karaoke pop song ever…!

🎵 The Slanted soundtrack is out now if you’d like to listen to the score!

Happy and grateful to have been a small part of another @jeffdanna1 score! Got to play some super cool pianos at @bandrikastudios (and admire the greyhound ashtray) and contribute a lil additional music (but mostly thought about the greyhound ashtray)

The show is out on Netflix now and the score is available to stream everywhere 🤠

“The Hunting Wives” has been out for less than a week, and is sitting pretty in the #2 spot on Netflix!
Chuffed to have been a part of this, and grateful to the entire music department.
