I did not attend church, VBS, youth group, worship band, and volunteer events to have the literal teachings of Jesus Christ spat on by self-proclaimed “Christians” voting for immoral immigration policy. Even if the church was intertwined with the state, there is no single Bible verse that comes close to the vitriol spewed by our pedophilic president. A good Samaritan was merciful towards an ethnic group typically vilified by his race, Jesus was a stranger and you invited him in, even Leviticus says to love the foreigner as yourself. The lack of moral backbone in the community that raised me appalls me beyond anger. We are betrayed and I for one will not bow towards their faux-Christian nationalist false-heartedness. Call your senators and demand a full stop to this anti-America and anti-Christian excuse for an immigration and customs enforcement agency.

These frustrations built this song. I’m especially proud to call it my own, but the circumstances behind it left me completely dispirited.
