Today, we celebrate @thelizzyadams on her selection to the prestigious Lateef Jakande Leadership Academy @ljlacademy. Queen Elizabeth, founder and visionary leader of @projectteci and @linkingcirclesacademy has been part of our story from some of our earliest days at Misty Glam Company. She started with us as one of our models, and over the years, she became an Ambassador, Impact Leader, Execution partner and mentor within our organisation, consistently showing what happens when talent is matched with purpose, responsibility and a willingness to serve. And now, she has been selected to join an Academy committed to developing a new generation of ethical, impact-driven leaders and equipping them with the knowledge, experience and exposure to create meaningful change. We are particularly proud because we have watched this journey up close. We’ve seen Elizabeth show up, lead, execute, pour into other people while helping build the kind of world that runway represents. Queen Elizabeth, this is so well deserved. Congratulations on this new chapter. We are excited to see what you will learn, build and become, and even more excited about the people whose lives will be better because you chose to lead. Congratulations, Elizabeth! You make us proud. 🥹👏🏾 💄: @beautebyjj #MistyGlamCompany #ElizabethAdams #Changemaker

This pageant was built on the shoulders of friends, family, loved ones, acquaintances and partners who carried me. If you can see this post, from the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU. THANK YOU for loving me enough to support this dream To my queens who believed in this vision, supported me, facilitated conversations and came through with brand sponsorships and partnerships, I pray that God continues to show up for you in every area of your life. May you feel God’s grace in every area of your life. @veev_n @jumiano_lexain @funmi_dayo @ilamosii @thelizzyadams @michelleadesuwaa To my friends who stood behind this dream before it even had wings, thank you. I pray that God carries your dreams as high as you have helped me carry mine @doyinnnn_ @zeezimoore @sotimirinyetunde To my dear @its_ezinne who literally carried the event on her head behind the scenes, I am deeply grateful to you. May you always have an angel by your side to support and strengthen you. I pray that you find divine favour everywhere you look. Amen 🫶🏽🫶🏽 To the @ame.experience team that turned my scattered ideas into a structured grand finale, I can’t thank you enough. To @oreskitch.en who was my plug for meals from the documentary shoot to the grand finale, thank you for showing up for me. To my superstar friends who offered me their services out of love, you are the reason this dream stood tall. May you stand tall before kings and queens. May the world see your talents and know your names as legends @tashayamala @daramatoye @theiboblondie @_bimashbeauty @beautebyjj @meetjmb To my loved ones who supported me with gifts, cash and even became sponsors themselves, I love you always @finewordsbyeniola @aboutbeautystore_ @abi.demi_ @linda_ikechukwu @baze_jewelry To all the sweet souls I met here on Instagram who have shown me so much love and supported everything that I do with so much kindness, thank you so much @creadoroyale @scents_forroyals @sally6kstore Finally, to my family for always believing in my crazy ideas. You are my biggest blessings 💚💚 #AlbinismAdvocacyPageant #BeautyInInclusivity #MistyGlamCompany

This pageant would not have been possible without an entire community of believers, supporters, and changemakers who stood with us every step of the way. To our brand sponsors, @lushhairnigeria @3crownsmilk @tastycubesnigeria @beautybyad @beautyhutafrica @topicals. Our brand partners @accesstech_innovation @cedomgbomo @naijaradfems, you reminded our queens and the entire albinism community that their dreams are valid and worthy of investment. Your love was felt in every stage light that shone on our contestants. To the @a.a.n.lagos.state.chapter, thank you for your partnership and trust. To our designers, makeup artists, stylists, and glam squad, you gave our contestants the joy of being seen and celebrated in ways many of them had never experienced before. You helped them see their own beauty reflected back with pride. @baze_jewelry @moopas_beauty @_bimashbeauty @beautebyjj @d_magic_touch @beautyroom_ng @unique.glam1 @ogeoluwa_mua @_elitemakeovers @douyebeautyartistry @houseofyera @hed_vogue @houseofkindaa @zachelle_fashion_house @kwenye.bespoke @styled_by_belema To our volunteers, your energy, your sacrifice, and your service kept the wheels of this event turning. Whether it was managing guests, running the talent stage, amplifying us on social media, or handling last-minute chaos you were the quiet heroes of this movement. @ezinne.zara To our judges, guests, and dignitaries, thank you for lending your voices, your wisdom, and your presence. Every clap, every word of encouragement, every photo taken was a statement that beauty belongs to everyone. And finally, to our partners, media allies @ikejarecord PR champions, gift sponsors @finewordsbyeniola @bata_mi @scents_forroyals and stakeholders, your impact is forever woven into the story of this pageant. The disability and marginalized communities we hoped to reach now know that there are brands, leaders, and humans who will always stand with them. From my heart and on behalf of Misty Glam Company, thank you for believing in advocacy, inclusion, and the power of representation. Together, we have planted a movement. 💚✨ With love and gratitude, Misturah Abisola Owolabi Founder, Misty Glam Company
