one year without martinis(and all other booze but dirty gin martinis were my favorite) what started as an experiment has made the sun feel brighter, the days feel longer, and all the moments in between more meaningful.

DJing my first @daytripla and @insomniacevents show was such a dream come true 🥹 It’s hard to find the words, so “bear” with me 🧸

I grew up in the golden era of raving, when most raves were what we’d now call underground parties. I was a feral little rave baby sneaking out of my house to go to Insomniac events, so to play this felt like a full circle moment 😭

I’ve also been making music for a long time, longer than I’ve been DJing, so getting to play my original songs on a stage like this is a feeling unmatched 👌🏼😚

So much gratitude and thanks to @lpgiobbi and Insomniac for the space to share my music and joy 💚And to my friends and community who came out to support me 🥺 seeing you dance freely gave so much meaning to what I do 🫶🏼 I LOVE YOU!!!

I just landed in Isla Mujeres—exactly two months to the day since I was last here for my wedding. Each year, I return to this island to play a sunrise set at one of the most magical, intentional festivals, @takemetoutopia , created by @jakeresnicow .
We got to get married here because Jake—one of the most capable and generous people I know—offered to bring it all to life. Over the years, this island has given me so much joy through Jake’s extraordinary community. For our wedding, Jake took all of that—every feeling, every detail I love—and transformed it into a weekend more beautiful than I could have imagined. Being back now, getting to welcome the sunrise for him and Utopia, exactly two months after our ceremony, feels incredibly full circle.
During the ceremony, our officiants @dacthree and @jfishbird shared something that gave me a whole new perspective on this place:
“We are standing on Isla Mujeres, a small island in the Caribbean Sea, just off the coast of the Yucatán—yet worlds apart in feeling. Long before maps or borders, this was sacred ground to the Maya. It was dedicated to Ish Chel, the goddess of the moon, fertility, healing, and renewal. Women traveled across open water to offer prayers—for life, for love, for continuity. The island became a place of intention, devotion, and return.
Surrounded by the sea, Isla Mujeres exists in balance—between strength and softness, movement and stillness. It asks for courage to arrive, and presence to stay. And today, we gather for the same reason people have come here for centuries: to honor connection, commitment, and the quiet miracle of choosing one another.”

Our wedding weekend—like this festival—was rooted in community, friendship, and support. Love doesn’t exist in isolation; it’s held and strengthened by the people around it. I’m endlessly grateful to everyone who journeyed across regions and open waters to be part of our lives, our love, and our continuity. Excited to channel everything this place has held for me into tonight, and share it with you 🫂🌻
