Continuing the conversation from a recent Instagram Live, Trevon Bosley from March For Our Lives and The BRAVE Youth Leaders shares how the RIFL Act will help fund preventative measures that keep communities safe. Community Violence Intervention (CVI) organizations & programs have already made a significant impact on reducing gun violence across Illinois, but cuts to federal funding threaten this lifesaving work. The RIFL Act will help fill the gap.

In 2019 our OG GKMC members threw a beach party on 31st Beach and they had over 1,000 teens pop out for free and they partied in peace, no fights and no shooting. And #chicago artist showed the youth love with music and performances. S/O to @keyisqueen @korporate @chris_maddog_fwk @djcashera @kuumbalynx @mylifeinthechi and more! 💯

Provide teens with entertainment and safe spaces consistently and we gone show love and respect no bap!

Pass the #peacebook so teens can get paid to push peace and host safe spaces for youth to enjoy themselves.

If you had a million dollars to invest in your hood what would you propose for city council to invest in?
