I love this artwork so much. With the imagery for this album, we wanted to explore and sit in this tension between eeriness and beauty, between the clinical and the tender, between life and death. We felt that eggs and chicks inhabited this liminal space between these things perfectly, and wanted to make a collection of images that could sit just as easily on the worktop of a lab, in a glass case in an art gallery, or on the pages of an old catalogue of items. Everything done for real, using props and shot in camera. Huge love to the amazing team involved, you all killed it and we made something beautiful.

Mantra, the third single from @0800shygirl’s upcoming album SWALLOW!, is out tomorrow.

If you don’t live under a rock then you’ll know we’re doing a live show!!! KIDDING im only just telling you now and i’m not a dickhead.

How crazy is this vocal performance by our beautiful friend and artist @fauzia.1 !! She really nailed this one.

Also here to say thank you to all of you supporting so far:

To my rockstar dilf co producer husband @bigever_ this would not exist without you!!

My mama Cindy - you created me and gave me love when I thought I didn’t deserve it, without you I worry where I might have ended up.

Genie, my daughter who somehow at 4 years old is the coolest and most inspirational person i’ve ever met.

@hector.barley you are our rock and north star!

The whole team at @becausemusicuk just wow, how lucky Tom and I to have landed this side of the world all those years ago and to have met you all and been together on this journey ever since.

To all the collaborators on this album @yune.pinku @tiffitiffitiffitiffitiffitiffi @iamkucka @fauzia.1 @jam____city @christineandthequeens @heba_kadry your talent and beautiful artistry has made this album my most adored work yet.

My wider team from my publisher @downtownmusicpublishing agents @earthmusicagency to promoters to journalists to my pr team to my plugger - thankyou from the bottom of my heart.

I can’t believe we are going LIVE!!! @bigever_ and I will be on stage and we have grand plans for it.
