life gave me some lemons but my Jesus He be makin’ lemonade 🍋🪩🛶💙

no better way to describe the last 3 months - a combination of sweet and sour, chaos and peace, uncertainty and clarity; but one thing remains constant: MY JESUS !!!

as I’ve navigated the first summer home from college, I was convicted this week of how the lies I believe about myself and my life have too often blinded me in my ability to see the fruit the Lord is growing. i believed this summer was depressing, hard, and getting in the way of me living an adventurous life - turns out it was full of moments of joy, perseverance, and lessons of how to find adventure in the “in between” moments of life. it took my full surrender of my lies for me to see how His goodness has been EVER PRESENT in this season.

lots of exciting things this fall, but for now I’m sipping on the sweet joys of a lemonade summer, TYJ !!!!

Such an unbelievably amazing experience serving as a Family Ministry Intern at Legacy Christian Church in Overland Park this summer!!!!

So many good memories this summer, from being a kindergarten mentor during Kids Week, to teaching the Word of God on a Wednesday student ministry night, to MCing night rec at Middle School camp! Also thanks @creationwithtyler and @becca.smith.17 for being the coolest co-interns.

I’m so grateful for the all the adventures I got to have, the people who invested generously in me, and for the opportunity to pour into middle and high school girls!

Thank you @legacy_christian for a great summer and thank you @fred_doug32 for reaching out to me for this great opportunity!

1 year ago today, we held our first Axis event at the grove in Branson, Missouri. It is so humbling to see the Lord work through students that have a heart to glorify God. What is your favorite memory from Axis?
