This summer didn’t involve a single trip to the beach.

It involved a daughter, born in August. 🫶🏻 Many new additions to the family. Slow mornings because leaving the house is not quick anymore. The nights I hold my son or daughter a little longer to soothe them to sleep. Offers written between rounds of potty training. Deals made in the car while they sleep in the back.

Younger me was waiting tables, dreaming of the day she would have a handful of clients to help while raising a family. That girl didn’t believe she had it in her to build what I have now. I’m still in the depths of building it, but I’m so excited to see where my business is going and how I am truly getting to help people.

No sand this year. Still the best summer I’ve had. If anyone asked whether I would change a thing, the answer is no.

A God Story…Gunner and I started dating right before Angela and I even talked about opening a salon. And she didn’t even know we were dating yet. Gunner is Angela’s husbands cousin and we didn’t even start dating through them. Little did we know that God was going to make Angela and I business partners and then make us family.
