Advanced 2 🩰 An incredible five days at the RAD Summer Intensive Syllabus Course 2026, working with the wonderful Hilary Clark, followed by my RAD Advanced 2 Ballet Examination on Saturday. A huge thank you to Vanessa Eborall, June Melville and Dorothy de Witt at @emd_balletschool for all the focused coaching, encouragement and meticulous attention to detail over the past month as I prepared for this exam. I’m incredibly grateful for the time, care and expertise you have each invested in getting me exam-ready 🤍 I’m also so grateful to Rebecca Petty-Fitzmaurice for her input and guidance during my ballet training in the UK. Every correction and different perspective has contributed to the dancer I took into the studio on Saturday 🩰 And a very special thanks to Hilary Clark for such an invaluable final week. Five intensive days refining the Advanced 2 syllabus, absorbing corrections and learning from your incredible knowledge was the perfect finishing touch leading into Saturday’s exam. I loved every minute of it Thank you to the Royal Academy of Dance for the opportunity to continue learning, growing and being challenged through courses like these, and to share the studio with so many talented and dedicated dancers @royalacademyofdance @rad_africa @rad_ballet #katherinedeacon #royalacademyofdance #advanced2 #ballet #balletexam
