Heels with Julia

Fam, after we took Hip Hop with Kim a couple of nights ago, we ended our evening with Julia’s Heels class. Such a nice way to greet the night.

We are happy that we captured this lovely trio, Julia, Becca and Sayana, dancing Julia’s choreo. As you can see with Sayana, you don’t have to wear heels to enjoy class and what an awesome dancer she is. Some of you may recognize Becca who used to teach Heels at Kits. So great that she’s back taking classes, and slaying as usual!

As for the choreo, we liked that there was a performance quality to the piece from the very start. It was fun to dance and the song was so catchy. We also like that Julia explains the musicality, movements and the technique. We had plenty of time to run the choreo in smaller groups, work on our timing, and just dance.

Thanks Julia, Becca and Sayana! Fam- come join us in Heels. You can dance in socks, runners or heels.

Fam! Happy Sunday. We had another awesome day at the studio dancing with so many incredible peeps.

Our day started off with 2 full house classes with Case. Party Grooves and Hip Hop. Party Grooves was such a vibe. Hip Hop was so good even if we couldn’t remember all the choreo.

We had a great time and got to see so many friends who came out for Case’s last classes. We are so glad we got to capture this special moment after Hip Hop class. Love seeing Case surrounded by the Fam. The cheering and smiling faces are heart warming.

It’s an end of an era. Case has been teaching at the studio for over 10 years!

Casey - thank you for all the great times, laughter and dancing at the studio. We will miss you and your classes and hope you come back to hang with us.

Fam- please join us in a big thank you to Case. If you have any memories to share, we love to hear them. Please also tag as we don’t have everyone’s instas .

Hope your week has been a good one. For the Swiftie fans out there, hope you had a great time at the concert.

We have quite a few pics and vids to share from the party last Friday, November 29 - so here are some more.

‘Twas a most excellent time seeing everyone who have been party of the Fam over the years. Thanks Amanda and team for putting this on. We will remember this night for the smiles, dancing and excited conversations.

Fam - it’s Becca and Case!

Becca subbed Femme Choreo today and brought the Usher hype. Nice that fellow instructor Case took class. We love seeing this support and glad we got a vid of this amazing pair.

For those of you who don’t know, Becca has been a student at the studio for years :) and has subbed numerous classes. We are so happy she is now teaching a new Heels class in Kits on Mondays! Hope you join.

Thanks Becca. What a great way to start a Sunday.

Happy Sunday Fam.

We have been able to take some heels classes lately at the studio and we love them all.

Here’s a vid taken with today of Justine, Taily and Becca slaying Justine’s choreo. We loved watching their distinct styles - so unique and so in sync. Also, how about this song choice that was suggested by Anusha. So good!

Thanks Justine- we had a great time.

Fam- Justine teaches the popular Femme Choreo and Heels classes on Sunday.

Happy Saturday Fam,

We have been posting a lot of instructor vids but wanted to share some class pics.

These are from Kyle’s last R&B class on Aug 7. It was a great turnout. The smiles and positive vibes in the photos are the essence of Kyle’s class. We especially feel that the short vid captures Kyle’s personality and our fam spirit.

Kyle - we loved our late Monday night R&B classes and hope they find their way back onto the schedule. For now, we will get dance Hip Hop and House with you on Mon nights.

We don’t know everyone’s insta so please tag. Thank you.

Thanks Kyle and Fam!
