Ya girl is 33✨💘 Birthdays have always been special to me and in the last few years I’ve realized how truly special they are. Regardless of what you did or didn’t accomplish in that year, what a gift it is to be blessed with another year of life. To wake up and feel the sun on your face, hear the voices of your loved ones, get to walk this earth one more day. I choose to live this life to honor my brothers, to continue to push through and enjoy this little and fast life the best that I can. One of the greatest joys of acting is realizing that perfection was never the goal.

Musical theatre reminded us that emotions can become so heightened they overflow into song. And in that space, perfection matters far less than presence.

The audience may forget a missed word or an imperfect note, but they’ll remember how you made them feel.

There is freedom in letting go of perfection and focusing on expressing perfectly what is alive within you.

The Parts You Don’t See 🤍

I want to share something a little personal.

Recently, someone told me they’ve tried other clubs… but they keep coming back to LBWC because of the vibe. And that really stayed with me.

Because the vibe doesn’t just happen.

It’s the late nights behind my laptop adjusting Eventbrite pages.
It’s the back-and-forth emails with partners.
It’s the spreadsheets, the walk routes, the weather checks.
It’s the DMs I answer at 10 PM.
It’s moving things around in my own life to make space for this one.

There’s so much that goes into Long Beach Walking Club that you don’t see. The planning. The problem-solving. The worrying about safety. The intention behind every single detail.

And I don’t do it for recognition.
I do it because I believe in this club.

I believe in women having a safe place to show up.
I believe in community.
I believe in the magic that happens when strangers become friends.
I believe in the kind of room where you can come alone and leave feeling like you belong.

When you show up to a walk or a social hour and it feels welcoming, easy, warm — that’s not accidental. That’s heart. That’s care. That’s me (and our incredible ambassadors) choosing to protect the energy of this space over and over again.

So hearing that someone keeps coming back because of the vibe? That means everything.

Because the vibe is you.
It’s how you greet new members.
It’s how you make space in conversations.
It’s how you choose kindness.

Thank you for trusting this space.
Thank you for showing up.
Thank you for protecting what we’ve built together.

This club means so much to me. And I’m so proud of what we’ve created — not just as a walking group, but as a community.

Goodbye to my mid 30s, hello to my late 30s. Eeek!
36 was a lot, but I learned that I am resilient, I am loved and I am a true Pisces and go with the flow. In the midst of chaos I searched for joy and I found it. I ended and started this new year surrounded by beautiful women who showed me love and appreciation and I am truly grateful and so so blessed. Thank you to everyone for your bday wishes. A reminder that I am a goofy nerdy silly baddie who loves to dress up and look cute, but isn’t afraid to act a fool. My tradition of doing karaoke on my birthday lives on! Happy National Margarita Day and Nathaly Day! 222!

Looking back on a whirlwind 10-day trip to California.

It was filled with friends, family, high school teachers, moving, and gigs. We somehow emptied Casa Cosmic in less than a day, and I felt completely overwhelmed in the best way by the love and support that showed up for us. It meant more than I can put into words.

A huge thank you to the friends who came out to help. You are the real ones, and I’m so grateful to have such a strong community in California.

After spending the past year in Chicago to test the waters, we’ve decided to make the move permanent. It has been wonderful for our business and for my mental health.

We’ll be back to California often. We love our community there and sure, the weather’s not bad 🌴 ☀️

Looking forward to our next trip being a little less stressful and a lot more relaxed! I love you, California!

A huge thank-you to @thesociallistlb for hosting us with so much care. The food, the ambiance, the service — everything felt warm, intentional, and so perfectly fitting for our annual celebration. We’re grateful to partner with a local business that shares our love for bringing people together.

Friendsgiving is always a reminder of why this little walking club has grown into a true community. Whether you came with a friend or showed up solo, each of you brought something special to the table. Your energy, your kindness, and your willingness to show up for each other are what make this club feel like home.
