Passages Season 2 / Program 6. Saturday March 16th. Tickets are on sale now. This will sell out. Don’t sleep. Ticket link in bio.

Spring is approaching and for the March edition of Passages we’ve switched up the format to a rotation of DJ sets and live sets, and invited some of our favorite artists who’ve been pushing ‘ambient’ into the hazy, dubby, blissed out zones we love to dwell in.

Live sets ~~
~ Jake Muir [releases on Sferic, Ilian Tape, Dust Editions] | @muirjake
~ Ben Bondy [releases on West Mineral Ltd., Experiences Ltd. / 3XL, Lillerne Tape Club, Good Morning Tapes] | @ben_bondy

DJ sets ~~
~ Special Guest DJ [founder of / releases on Experiences Ltd. / 3XL, member of crimeboys, Critical Amnesia, Ghostride The Drift, etc.] | @yungsanta
~ Security Dog [Great Circles Radio resident found DJing all over Philly who’s blown us away with some of the freshest ambient radio sets in the last few months] | @03_securitydog.flac

Visual projections ~~ @klipcollective

Beverages ~~ @forinphl

Passages design ~~ @shawn_ryan

Tomorrow night, February 17th we welcome @kraftwitch to the labyrinth for Passages - Season 2 / Program 5. Ticket link in bio.

kraftwitch is John Moletress, an artist, musician, producer and label head of Three Wands Records. Their debut EP ‘Field Notes Vol. 1’ was released in 2023.

kraftwitch is performing at Passages using the instrument seen in this video. From kraftwitch - “Performing again on this instrument I created and coded from my grandmother’s sewing box back in 2021...a month worth of field recordings and manipulated samples from a concert at the Philadelphia Orchestra. The copper pipes and wire are conductive and chaotic. The potentiometers/knobs manipulate different recordings of conversations, city ambience, etc.”

kraftwitch also recently started a monthly Great Circles Radio show, The Tarot Mixtapes - 4th Fridays, 3-4PM ET.

Hear kraftwitch live at Passages along with a live set from Beck-Fields and an extended DJ set by Alex Tebbs Mitchell. Visual projections by Klip Collective. Beverages by Forin. See you in the labyrinth.

This Saturday, February 17th, we welcome Beck-Fields to the labyrinth. Passages Season 2 / Program 5. Ticket link in bio.

Beck-Fields is the collaborative project of singer/multi-instrumentalist Jeremy Beck and electronic musician William Fields. @beckjdavid @williamfieldsy

Jeremy Beck is a classically-trained composer, studio musician, playwright, and poet. He is a founding member of the band Rise Twain (Sony/Inside Out Music).

William Fields is an electronic musician with an international cult following (fans of his work include Autechre, Richard Devine, Speedy J, Nicolas Jaar, Telefon Tel Aviv, and Colin Benders). [GC NOTE: check out Jamie Lidell’s interview with William Fields on his “hanging out with audiophiles” podcast]

Together, through a highly improvisational process, they tap into a realm beyond the intellect, conjuring landscapes full of texture and emotion.

New album in the works. We’ve been joyously perusing the skeleton vault and striking new chords. It’s only a matter of time. More to come! Live, love, and be free.
