Unbelievable first Desert Drone show at St. Andrews, with sublime performances from David Moore, Beck Rose, and the trio of Ryan Wheless, Bailey Zick, and Luke Schneider. Incredible visuals provided by @aesthesia.als

What a privilege to be able to bring Desert Drone to such a beautiful place. It really was a dream night. Thank you again to Alex and the church, and everyone who came out. We'll be there as much as we can for the foreseeable future.

This is a big one, and we would love to see your support, especially if you live in the neighborhood. We're hoping to use this church for more shows, and a good turnout for this would mean a lot.

Rounding out the bill is Beck Rose and Ryan Wheless' Pedal Steel Bonanza. $15 tickets available at the link in our bio, $18 day of show.

Composer and pianist David Moore comes to Tucson Friday October 9th to play Desert Drone at our first ever event at Saint Andrews church in Armory Park. David is best known for his work with ambient/mininalist group Bing & Ruth and will be in town promoting his new solo album "Graze The Bell" prior to performing at FORM at Arcosanti.

David is joined by Beck Rose and Ryan Wheless' Pedal Steel Bonanza (Ryan Wheless, Alex Oliverio, Bailey Zick, Luke Schneider). Tickets are on sale now at the link in our bio. $15 advance, $18 day of show. Doors open at 7:00pm and music will start promptly at 7:30pm. Thank you again to Saint Andrews for allowing us the use of their beautiful space and piano.

At the forefront of contemporary instrumental music, the work of composer and pianist David Moore gently defies genre. Hailing from Kansas, his folk heritage, alongside his affinity for natural landscapes and spiritual inquiry, infuse his music today. Moore relocated to New York in 2004 where he met like-minded musicians exploring atmospheric, instrumental-based composition. From that creative circle, Bing & Ruth was born. As leader of the ensemble, Moore earned acclaim for his spaciously sublime compositions.

He continues to expand his sound through collaboration, experimentation, and intuitive discipline. In addition to four full-length albums and five EPs with Bing & Ruth, Moore has also released collaborations with Steve Gunn (Let the Moon Be a Planet and Live in London) and Cowboy Sadness (Selected Jambient Works, Vol. 1). From his earliest works to his most recent albums Butterfly Gardens and Graze the Bell, his solo work only deepens the intimate presence central to his art. Merging trance-inducing atmospheres with melodic-driven composition, Moore’s art thrives in liminality. Across an expanding discography, his entrancing music offers a quiet, clarifying return to our shared humanity.
