Somewhere along the way, we were taught that growth means constantly moving forward. But what if growth also requires stopping? The Summer Solstice marks the longest day of the year and the halfway point of 2026. A natural pause. That’s why I created this Summer Solstice Beach Reset. This beginner-friendly sequence by Becky Patel @becksintheworld brings mobility to the upper spine, helping to relieve stress and stiffness while creating freedom in the shoulders and neck. A variety of asanas link the actions of the arms and shoulder blades with clarity and awareness. Chaturanga Dandasana, Urdhva Mukha Svanasana and Adho Mukha Svanasana can be repeated 2–3 times as a short vinyasa within the sequence. Becky is a certified Iyengar Yoga teacher who has been teaching since 2013 and has traveled to Pune to study with the Iyengar family. She is also inspired by Vedic Astrology. Thank you, Becky, for sharing your knowledge. 🧡😘 You can find this beautiful sequence in the upcoming Yoga Calendar 2026, available in my online shop: shop.svejar.com I hope it brings you inspiration and joy. ✨ #iyengaryoga #yogasequence #yogaillustration #therapeuticyoga #spinemobility #yogainspiration #svejar #yogadrawing #yogacalendar
