I pushed people ahead of me to win.

I’ve competed for most of my life (30+ years 😂), and I’m still learning things about myself. So here are five thoughts from the last few weeks…

1. I still care about winning. A LOT 😂
2. Letting go of your ego can give you the best chance of winning. Knowing when it’s your time and when it’s theirs is a skill.
3. You can be proud of what you’ve done without immediately moving the goalposts. Sit in it for a little while ❤️
4. Letting people see how much something matters to me makes the good moments even better. Tears and all.
5. I love finding out what I’m capable of, but helping the people I love see what they’re capable of? That smile hits different.

The last two weeks have been pretty special 🥹 I’ve looked at these pictures a few times and thought: I really love my life right now.x

& in this life, Janice (AKA Mum) has shown me how important to have an impact & changing people’s lives for the better will always be on the agenda ❤️
