Baby Fest (shower) appreciation post - Part 1 !
I am extreme grateful for my people & how they showed so much love & support for us on Saturday. My Sister, @homegrownmum Ellen & My Bestie, Meghan @beckymoomoo hosted a super fun Baby Fest themed shower at our home. Everything was great, the food, the games, the weather & most importantly the people! I love my people & I am so incredibly thankful for them.

Our @practicalfarmer field day on pastured pigs and managing brush goats with @nofence collars was a blast! Thank you to PFI, the event sponsors (Nofence, @alseedhouse and Riverside Feeds), all the attendees and my in laws Diana and Huy for catering the tastiest field day lunch you ever did feast upon!

Here’s the problem though: I took zero pics. ZERO! So unlike me but I was in the zone! If you attended, could you send me pics? I’d love to share them (with credit of course). Thank you @deltagardener and Diana for sending me these two.

July ‘23 was extra extra spicy & full of new & old feelings, changes, growth, reconnections, road trips, birthdays, heartbreak & adventure.
Looking forward to cooler temps + humans all together chilling more. Let’s all just collectively rest / cool it. 💙

Yesterday over 60k people & myself biked from Ames to Des Moines & I’m still reeling w/ that @RAGBRAI energy! If you know the magic, you know. It was really hot but small towns pulled through with all the amenities. Proud of myself as this was the furthest I’ve ever cycled. The last stretch from waterworks park to Home in WDM was the hardest as it was without my team. I couldn’t imagine a more supportive team than my Sister, Ellen @homegrownmum & my Best Friend, Meghan @beckymoomoo!! Proud of all the other Womyn that say Yes to adventure, Ride On ! 💗 🌞🚴🏽
Here are just few highlights from the ride ~
