I will post details soon for my one day kids’ intensive soil & fungi camp, but if you’re planning to be there on Friday, August 14th and would like to pre register your kiddo with me now, please DM me. (Ages 8- 13 welcome this year for my camp).

This year’s camp is drop off style so you (the parent) can attend some festival events or go out on a guided foray! Camp runs 9am- 4pm.

Did I mention my kids’ camp is FREE 🤩

The festival is so mush fun for all ages!! Bring a notebook and a foraging basket. That’s all you need if you bring your kids for a homeschool adventure! (Rain gear and hiking boots too). 🥾🌧️

Don’t miss the parade on Saturday, August 15th at 4pm.

Katrina Blair, pictured on the right, was a Telluride Mushroom Festival fixture,

For many years she arrived in town for the festival by hiking from Durango to Telluride and eating wild plants along the way.

She was gentle and joyful, sharing her knowledge easily. We will miss her.

Era una persona afable y alegre que compartía sus conocimientos con generosidad. La echaremos de menos.

Telluride Mushroom Festival family, we are sad to share that Katrina Blair’s spirit has ascended into the Otherworld. She passed away late morning on Friday, June 5th in the La Platas with people she loved in a place that she loved.

“Rest in weeds,” one of our friends said, as Katrina Blair was an advocate for the wild weeds and the medicine they share with us when we know how cultivate a relationship with them.

We like to think Katrina’s spirit is in the clouds drinking thistle juice and sharing with other souls what it was like to be someone who touched so many lives.

Those who were around Katrina felt her radiance, and even until her last days, her eyes were shining bright and she had a fairy-like glow. She lived a life of service to the wild plants and to those who graced her presence through her personal work and career with Turtle Lake Refuge.

She has been an integral part of the Telluride Mushroom Festival family for the last 20 years, and 15 of them made Telluride Mushroom Festival History by hiking from Durango to Telluride, all 8 peaks, and hiking to town with wild plants to serve at the annual Wild Foods dinner. Each year, participants left the dinner with a glow that was not just from eating wild food, but from being around Katrina.

Katrina’s wish was for her Telluride Mushroom Festival legacy to be celebrated by remembering the joy and wild wisdom the plants bring. About a month ago she shared with Team Mushroom that some of her fondest memories were hanging out with Gary Lincoff at TMF.

In the wake of this hard news, we are sending our thoughts and hearts to loved ones of Katrina’s and the many turtles who will be following her path.

Please stay tuned for a memorial celebration dedicated to Katrina that will be held this year at the Telluride Mushroom Festival.

We will be honoring her in many ways, including her last wishes to Team Mushroom about how she’d like to pass her Telluride Mushroom Festival torch … but for now we want to share our deepest gratitude for all she did for our community and the world at large.

We’re returning to the grassroots spirit of the early days of TMF and sharing the festival the way communities always have: through real connection, word of mouth, and community.

In a world of robots and AI-everything, help us keep the mycelial network human. You can help us spread spores about our myco-community by postering your town and cities all over the world!

To join the Grassroots Street Team and receive a FREE Telluride Mushroom Festival pass:
• Sign up for the TMF email list
• Follow TMF on Instagram
• Apply and get official approval for the geographic area you live in or place you intend to post flyers.
• Document and submit via the provided Google form:
Post 30 posters for a free TMF pass ($500 value)
Post 20 posters for 50% off a TMF pass ($250 value)

Proper documentation includes:
• Taking a photo or video of where the poster was posted. The videos can be creative, but the photos should be centered and vertical so they can be used for social media. These will be used in posts leading up to the festival. Feel free to tag us in stories as you are postering!
• Submit photos and videos in the google form received when accepted, along with a location and any relevant details such as, length of time the poster was approved at the business, if you made any relevant TMF connections such as sponsorship, or someone was going to purchase a ticket.
• Please include which photo goes along with which location somehow. You can do this by labeling the photos/videos with the location when you submit them, or by including the photo name in the location part of this form.

Any folks that go above and beyond with content TMF can use for social media, and are interactive with TMF on social media, may receive gifts TMF sponsor swag (functional mushroom supplements, merch, products, etc).

Limits apply, previously purchased passes are not eligible for refund, passes earned can be gifted or redeemed for TMF 2027. See application for additional limitations.

Northern California Community

We are giving back to the land and we could use your help.

Next weekend Feb 27 March 1st.

We’ll be spending the weekend in this beautiful Nor Cal hill country,
- enjoying center retreat life,
- hot tub,
- steam bath,
- gourmet chef inspired meals,

The weather forecast looks great

This will be a collaborative weekend. Yes we will be working but mainly playing and having fun.

In preparation for 2026, it felt like time to commemorate 2025 at least for a moment on this beautiful grid.

Albeit, this is only half. Q3 and Q4 are on their way. This year was good.

And in efforts of being more of a real human full of silliness and awe and everything really under the sun, I give you a bunch of random photos that mean almost nothing to anyone else, but mean the world to me.

1. Me at the facilitator retreat I dreamed up— friends uniting to share their gifts
2. Jim and I ran a 55K and got to be in the desert at the same time. Favorite run of all time!
3. Bathroom selfie because we are all human and hey, I look good
4. Our fig tree that I wrapped up for the winter. Jim and I would laugh every night about it, saying it looked like “sad llama” IYKYK
5. Traveling to celebrate @_jess_lackey_ because gosh is she just the easiest person to celebrate
6. My pole obsession coming in hot this year that only some of y’all are privileged to see
7. @shelbsip and I taking small steps to actualize a little dream
8. Another relay run through our beautiful mountains with great company.
9/10. Teddy’s last days, bringing him to the water, and how loved we felt to have friends willing to dig a grave while we spent the last moments with the most legendary boy
11. Graduation! LCMHCA bb!
12/13. a pretty good foraging year, despite the minimal time I had to spend in the woods
14. a beautiful Backyard birthday for myself thanks to Facebook marketplace candles, and another dream actualized
15. A 24 hour trip to denver to fangirl @lvdy.music and see my honey
16. Churningman. IYKYK.
17. My first of many horse Reiki sessions: this was the surprise gift of 2025!
18. Jim’s giant wisdom tooth!! Should I encase this in gold and year it around my next Y/Y (he is so wise!!)
19. Asheville being Asheville. Creating beauty where there was destruction.

Pt. 2 later. Many words of gratitude maybe to come, or maybe for me to just feel an experience as I live this beautiful life.
