Another bone chilling morning here on the north shore of Nova Scotia ❄️🥶❄️🥶 … the perfect time to curl up with a strong cup of coffee & some knitting 🧶

Working away on my #coffeebreakkal being hosted my my LYS @naturalewe … I’m using up some minis gifted to me by the amazing @mrsbrownsbags!

Will do my best to get this off my needles so I can share it as an FO on next weekend’s podcast episode!

A fantabulous ‘bitter sweet’ final weekend at the @alton.mill’s Fire and Ice Festival for this lil’ gallery mistress & massive gallery dog!
▫️
So nice to have Bridget @beebydesign swing by for one last visit and partake in a final Noodle boomerang depicting our bitter sweet feelings (Noodle & bee by design have literally grown up together :) Happy to see the gallery space packed with a ton of art/artisan appreciators both days. Heartwarming to have VERY lovely repeat Noodle customers purchase a painting and then want to tape a Noodle brochure to the back of the frame for posterity. Enjoyed the amazing ice sculptures carved by a few different artists and the incredible fire sculpture created by Paul @morinstudios (so much design thought and creation time was apparent). Got my giggle-to-belly laughs and toe-tapping-thigh-slapping quotas in at the comedy show/bluegrass band event Saturday evening thanks to the comedy production of @oliverkoupriecomedy and musical talents of @stoneylonesomebluegrass. Had so much fun with Sam up in the @the_hive_encaustic_studio with @karenbrownencaustics turning a cherished Japanese tea cup into a beeswax candle complete with embellishments. I envisioned a Japanese garden but clearly floral arrangement is not in my future. *side note - you really MUST take a workshop or do a short activity (like the candle making) in The Hive sometime. It’s the most calm & serene space with super nice & super cute instructors!

And lastly enjoyed the good noodley vibes right until the very end when the sun had set and the mill was quiet with a cupla awesome Noodle staffers @emilygraetz and Sam @inkerings and Magnus the magnificent enjoying his happy place. Thank you @alton.mill management team for organizing such a great weekend. Thank you to the mill for memories & connections that will last a lifetime. Thank you to all the wonderful artists and artisans I have worked with. Thank you to the incredible mill patrons for the love and support. And thank you @routledge_samantha for all the help with Noodley things over the years and for taking a pic of Magnus and me as we wrap up and walk out the door on our final day. Heart and soul are filled ❤️

This lil’ gallery mistress was plaaaaannning on posting yesterday. I was, I really was! But with the Fire and Ice Festival at the @alton.mill it was extremely busy and there were throngs of people coming through. Wonderful to see!! Last day of Noodle and still lots of activities going on for Sunday at the Fire and Ice. We have a wonderful sale going on a Noodle this weekend with much artwork and artisan products at anywhere from 25 to 40% off. Some big art pieces at 40% off is an amazing deal folks. Swing on by or feel free to DM for deets.
Magnus and I will be at the Alton Mill today for this last day of Noodle vibes and we hope to see ya….
