History is being made in Meanjin at the iconic Brisbane Powerhouse on Yuggera and Turbal Country! This week, seven deadly Kings come together to celebrate the incredible talent, creativity and diversity of First Nations drag artistry.

Mr First Nation is about more than a crown. It’s about creating space for First Nations voices, celebrating our diversity and showing that there is no one way to express our culture, identity or pride.

🔥 ••• Voting is open until 5:00 PM, this Friday 23 October •••🔥

The portrait with the most combined likes and shares on this post will be crowned People’s Choice at the Mr First Nation Grand Final event taking place this Friday night at @bris_powerhouse.

Today is International Drag Day, a day to celebrate diversity, creativity and self-expression. The drag communities’ impact on LGBTQSB+ rights and activism cannot be overlooked, today we show appreciation for Drag Performers across the world.

Drag Queens, Drag Kings and non-conforming drag artists are a bright light in our world. Drag artists have always stood up for what is right, using their stage presence or social media platforms to highlight disadvantaged people across the world, educating people and showcasing their Charisma, Uniqueness, Nerve and Talent!
