I’m normally very open with my medical journey as my goal is to always bring awareness, so that my survival story can be someone else’s survival guide… but this recent trial I’ve been very nervous & hesitant to speak on as it was one that I never expected & truly didn’t understand why it happened nor how I made it out… But then I realized this wasn’t a guide, but one to speak on how good God is! I am a walking medical anomaly, but also know and have seen how He does not play about me! To go from having spine surgery one week, learning what negative signs to look for a few days after(grateful for you Chance Lewis), to passing out the next week and having to be resuscitated(forever thankful as I know this was terrifying D'koven Kherut), & having (5) Seizures all within 3hrs… unable to talk, unable to walk, to being able to be discharged within 4 days as if nothing occurred… But God! 🙌🏾 September 30th will be a day I’ll never forget, bc the Devil thought he had me again & he still fails to realize that I am Her, just as God deemed me to be! So, I say all that to say, even when you think the odds are against you, know God is with you & keep faithing forward! 🫶 Thank you to my village for everything, my babies did not miss a beat without there… I never woke up without someone present at my bedside, I never questioned would I make it! I pulled strength from you all and I’m forever thankful! 🥹

A little late, but I needed time to get these emotions together lol 🥴 In May, was the first time of so many graduations for the last day of PreK, Elementary, & Middle School… don’t know why I didn’t correlate that to Aug. 1st being the Day of so many firsts… your girl sat in the car for 3hrs crying and contemplating on following each and every bus… ESPECIALLY that ELEMENTARY SCHOOL BUS with MyMy on it 🥹😅… But To my first time Elementary, 1st grader, Middle, & High Schooler, this is the beginning of so many amazing achievements, experiences, and life lessons… go and be great mama scholars! 🤗 🥰🥹
