Tysm to our friends @oldirvingbrewing! We celebrated our book, “Rethink Everything You Know About Craft Beer” in Chicago proper — and man they brought the heat. Such a phenomenal spot and crew. This needs to be numero uno on your Chicago travel list. We sold out of books, ate our weight in cheese curds, and didn’t take enough photos. [That tracks.] Thank you to everyone who came and supported us! We missed our authors who couldn’t make it due to other travel plans. And ope sorry @thicccthor we didn’t get another group pic when you arrived. Dangit. I was so happy to see everyone who made it out and showed love. YOU ARE AMAZING HUMANS. #craftbeer #drinkcraft #chicagobeer #rethinkeverything #reykacb

-A Glimpse Behind the Beer Babe Glass- Why do I do what I do? Beer is culture. Beer is community. Beer is connection. Beer is craft. And my mission? To share those stories with the world, one pour at a time. Here’s a little backstory to give a glimpse behind the glass. Thanks for being here! 🍻

🌼Taking a Pause🌼 I’m finding myself reaching for all kinds of sparkling alcohol alternatives lately — enter @pausesparklingwater! Big thank you to my hometown homie @joey_giardiniera from @noonwhistlebrewing for sliding these fruity CBD sparkling waters. I’ve been digging the Berry flavor for a minute and recently tried the Tropical. I’m seriously loving anything sparkly with 0 calories on days when I’m abstaining from beer. That said, I’m going to have to smuggle more over from Chicago to San Diego! ‘Twas was a magical day spent in the mountains with my best hiking babe @ally.in.cally. 🫶 We did a 6-mile hike in the “real mountains” 😅 with steep hills and 3 river crossings to find this amazing waterfall (swipe ➡️)! The trek back up was certainly marked as “hard” but we made it. 💪 More pics to come because these views were phenomenal! #beer #cbd #cbdwater #pause #hiking #hike #beerbabe #explore #mountains #beerbabejess #adventure #waterfall #sdlife #socalliving #sdlifestyle #views #naturelover #mountainlovers #optoutside #hikingadventures #hikemore #hikemoreworryless #waterfalls #waterfallhike #craftbeer #sparklingwater

💙💚Hop water💚💙 10 days into DryJan®️and things are a lot quieter over here. It’s a welcomed change while I focus on some other personal projects. Any guesses?✨ Aside from the beer fest this weekend, I’m taking it slow with lots of self-care. Here’s what that looks like… ☑️More meditating & lightwork ☑️ More neighborhood walks ☑️ More visits to my local park ☑️ More yoga & stretching ☑️ More reading books & journaling ☑️ More cooking at home instead of eating out ☑️ More soft pants/no makeup lewks (like in this pic lol) I’m definitely happy to have all kinds of fizzy drinks to enjoy in the meantime! Cheers @noonwhistlebrewing and thanks @joey_giardiniera for the drop. Love ya brother. A happy, happy birthday to this amazing woman right here! @womensbeercollective Ever since I arrived in San Diego, Kristine took me in as a part of the beer fam. I’m so blessed to have her as a beer friend turned real life friend. KB, from your creativity and zest for life to your warm heart and sense of humor, I’m so happy we‘ve become kindred. Much love to you during this new decade; I hope you feel as loved as you truly are. What’s on your holiday wishlist this year? 🎅🏼 If you said barrel aged stouts, you’ve come to the right place! This stunning gift to the barrel aged beer babes is Enchiridion, a blend of single, double, and triple bourbon barrel-aged stouts — and it’s available at @purebrewing tomorrow, 12/8 at 9am PST. In total, character from 6 bourbon barrels went into this unique beauty. You can consider Breckenridge, Blanton’s and Widow Jane the 3 wise men! On the nose you’ll find crème brûlée and toasted oak, while flavors of fig, chocolate, and a tiny touch of cinnamon bark round it out on the finish. It’s dangerously mellow and smooth at 14.3%. So, whether you’ve been naughty or nice, this blended stout will jumpstart your holiday libation celebrations with plenty of festive cheer! #purebrewing #pureproject #drinkcraft #drinkbeer #drinklocal #stout #sandiego #sandiegobeer #stoutseason #beerbabe #beerme #beerbabejess #barrelaged #barrelagedbeer #cheers #barrelagedstout #holidaybeer #socallife #socalliving #sdbeer #beerblogger #beerwriter #beerstagram #beerporn

Exploring with @burgeonbeer 🌳🏔️ I got to explore the picturesque vistas about an hour northeast with my girl @ally.in.cally. It was lovely to escape the city for some gorgeous nature vibes. And of course tour the family farm @serratofarms and enjoy dinner with the fam! Thank you for showing me such a beautiful time, Ally! Y’all know there were plenty of beers to be had: 🍺: @burgeonbeer Treevana IPA 🍺: @burgeonbeer Fresh Hop Treevana IPA Cheers to friends who feel like familia. 🍻 #drinkcraft #craftbeer #craft #beerbabe #drinkcraftbeer #hops #ipa #beerbabes #beer #explore #adventure #family #drinkcraftnotcrap #sdbeer #sandiegobeer #sandiego #socalliving #socalbeer #california #californiabeer #burgeon #mountains #mountainview #mountainviews #drinks #jessandally #allyandjess

It’s giving incubator vibes ✨ Pilot Project Brewing is a brewery incubator + tasting room in Logan Square, Chicago. What does that mean? With 24 taps, @pilotprojectbrewing serves as a space to help support startup brewers with recipe development, distro and more. In other words, they help brewers pilot their projects. I was happy to swing in for a quick flight during my most recent trip to Chicago, and I’m looking forward to seeing what beer is born there in the future. Such a beautiful space to try some otherwise unknown beers. I think my fave was the @funkytown_brewery pale ale, it’s a black-owned brewery you all should keep your eyes on! 👀 Here’s where I get tangential… (I’d also like to mention that this pic was taken after we got caught walking in the rain and my hair held up just fine thanks to @giavannast.philip at @salonbordeaux! Usually after ONE raindrop my hair looks like frizzy cocker spaniel ears (iykyk)).😅 📸: my OG Chicago IPA queen @izapiza83 #chicagobeer #drinkcraftbeer #drinkcraft #chicagobeerblogger #beerblogger #beerbabe #womeninbeer #beer #beerbabes #instabeer #beerstagram #beergeek #drinkcraftnotcrap #girlsincraft #craftbeerbabe #drinking #beerbabesfamily #ipa #chickswhodigcraftbeer #blogger #craftbrew #beerbabejess #beernerd #beerme #beerlove #chicago #craftbeer #beerporn #drinklocal #beerme

Who is thankful for beer? 🙋🏼‍♀️ I hope you all had a safe and happy Thanksgiving! After opening a bunch of barleywines this week I’ve taken to popping open some non-alcoholic beer. Have you all heard of @bestdaybrewing? Their branding and packaging is divine, and I’m enjoying sipping on some of their different beers. The kölsch is probably my fave and I hope to try the hazy sometime soon! 🫧GLASSWARE RESTOCK🫧 That’s right! My Certified Beer Babe glassware is back just in time for the holiday season. This new edition is a 12-oz glass rather than an 11-oz glass as previously stocked. (The previous style is no longer carried by my retailer.) Full transparency, there is a slight $2 price increase to assist in covering the *wild west* that is shipping costs these days. I hope y’all love them as much as I do! And yes, it will fit just perfectly in your holiday stockings — perfect for all the beer babes on Santa’s NICE list this year! 🎁 Link in bio or visit beerbabejess dot com / shop.
