October has been a meaningful month for us.
For five years, @mri.studios has been more than a physical space. It has been a home for artists, creatives, young people, musicians, poets, filmmakers, entrepreneurs, and community members to gather, create, learn, and grow.
And now, we’re preparing to turn the page.
October will be our last full month in this location.
After dealing with recurring leaks and ongoing building issues, we’ve made the difficult decision to leave this space and begin the search for a new home for MRI Studios. While saying goodbye is never easy, we’re choosing to look ahead with excitement, gratitude, and faith in what comes next.
But we need our community with us in order to transition. We are accepting all donations at the link in our bio.

“Where have you been/why haven’t I seen you??!” is not the same as “Hey how are you doing? I noticed you haven’t been around as much.”

Life has been lifin’ for sure. Some scenes of what I’ve been up to since the spring...which is A LOT! My life is filled with food, music, solo adventures, family, and friends. I promise I’m not hiding - sometimes I just don’t have as much as I usually have to give 🤷🏾‍♀️ but I’m not gonna lie, it’s weird to hear people say I’m not outside, because I AM 😂

If you’ve noticed YOU don’t see me as much, it’s probably because I’m conserving my energy more…and maybe the only reason you saw me was because I came around your way, and now that I stopped you haven’t thought to extend in this direction 🧐

S/O to the real ones who show up for me, and reach out when they see I’ve been quiet. Much needed 💕

Check on your strong friends, yall. We not as strong as you think 💯 but we’re still here.
