This holiday season I’m hoping to do something special for a family in need. The goal is to raise $5,000 before December 23rd. I know the holiday times can be difficult and sometimes stressful but I’m hoping this run can not only inspire but raise awareness to stay active.
The third and forth slide are special because I rarely openly share my thoughts on depression. The proof is in the pudding. I joined @whocaresrunclub as soon as I came back from Georgia 🇬🇪 and running helped combat the “blues” I was feeling being back in the states. My steps and miles doubled as I started running, lifting and working with high school/college/professional athletes more on court. Use my story to encourage yourself. It doesn’t have to be a marathon but start with getting 5,000 steps a day if possible. You’ll start expanding your workouts and the best advice I can give when your having trouble is to find a group of folks that want to do the same goal wise.
