@maulmusic_ is Canada’s biggest hard dance artist, with over 100 million streams across all platforms and a peak of 1 million monthly listeners. Based in Toronto, his sound blends hardstyle, rawstyle, hard techno and other harder styles into a high energy sound built around versatility and impact.

His music originally leaned more euphoric, influenced by trance and artists like Headhunterz, Noisecontrollers and Wasted Penguinz, but over time his sound has evolved into something much harder and more aggressive. Rather than following a typical hardstyle or hard techno formula, MAUL focuses on combining multiple genres within both his productions and DJ sets, using contrast between melody, raw energy and harder drops to create something that feels more personal to him.

That approach carries into his sets, where diversity is a major part of his identity. Instead of staying locked into one sound, MAUL moves between hardstyle, rawstyle, hardcore, hard techno and uptempo while keeping the energy consistent and the set cohesive.
@maulmusic_ has supported and shared stages with artists including Restricted, Lil Texas, Coone, El Mefti, Anderex and Samuel Moriero, with an appearance at Insomniac’s Wasteland Festival in 2024 as well as the official Teletech afterparty. He has also performed at venues including REBEL, NOIR, 131 McCormack and Runnymede, while his music has received international support from major names across hard dance.

Outside of his artist project, MAUL runs one of Toronto’s biggest hard dance collectives and is focused on helping grow hard dance culture across North America, especially on the East Coast.
