Cassandra & Jose 💍

One of our favorite moments from their wedding day happened during the ceremony, when Jose was so in awe of his bride that he couldn’t help but say, “I just want to kiss you already.”

They weren’t looking for love when they met. Janiera had simply taken a travel nursing assignment in Orange County, California, while Wanda was already there.

But sometimes life has a way of making the right introductions at exactly the right time.

What began as a friendship between two travel nurses grew into something neither of them expected. Years later, after reconnecting in Philadelphia, falling in love, and proposing to each other, Janiera and Wanda returned to California—the place where their story first began—to become wives at San Francisco City Hall.

Because sometimes the detour isn’t a detour at all. Sometimes it’s the beginning of everything.
