An ode to summer tomatoes 🍅 Now’s the time to enjoy those fresh, local Indiana tomatoes at restaurants across the city. These are a few of my favorite recent pick ups. I think you should try them all.

why do people hate on content creators so much in public. I had a small tripod, small ring light — half the size of my phone — which I purposefully turned down to its lowest setting to be considerate.

And what’s crazy is that I knew as soon as I sat down — four tables away from this lady and her equally crotchety friends — that she was gunna fabricate a problem.

But… I was definitely validated that I wasn’t disturbing this lady, that disturbed was just her default setting when they got equally angry at a person parking their car in a parking spot outside the restaurant and their headlights were on too long.

They said “how rude of them to have their headlights on.” Like they were doing it on purpose???? It’s a car lady. Most people have them on automatic settings.

Anyways……. BEST CHICKEN SANDWICH IVE HAD IN A LONG TIME. @beholderindy #indyfoodie #indianainfluencer #nowserving #chickensandwich

Epicurean Indy Summer Restaurant Week 🍽️
We’re excited to be joining Epicurean Indy’s Summer Restaurant Week, a great program that brings together a bunch of cool local restaurants to help create awareness, celebrate our local food scene, and support independent businesses.
For the first week, we’re offering a three-course meal that will leave you full, happy, and satisfied — and we’d love for you to come check it out!

This is our menu for Week One, but we may switch things up for Week Two and get a little creative with it. 👀

Somehow, we accidentally started an unofficial Indianapolis Carpaccio Contest. ;)

It began with the squash carpaccio at Beholder, which absolutely blew us away. Then came the beef carpaccio at Rosemary & Olive, where George claimed they had the best Carpaccio in town. Yesterday Del Frisco’s entered the picture and more than held their own.

Current standings:

🥇 Beholder — Squash Carpaccio
🥈 Del Frisco’s — Beef Carpaccio
🥈 Rosemary & Olive — Beef Carpaccio

Now we need contenders. Who has the best carpaccio in Indianapolis, and where should we go next?
