Every single thing about this wedding commission was as custom as it gets and I loved every minute of it.

I got to know Max and Cassidy as people and as a couple. It a true honor to be tasked and trusted to reflect parts of their life in response to their stories (travel, inside jokes, shared experiences, and symbols in their relationship) and combined graphic taste (folk florals, whimsy, tattoos, cartoons, and bold abstract nature inspired) to create this custom canvas wedding frame over their chuppah for their Jewish x Greek Orthodox interfaith wedding in the Berkeley hills at @brazilianroomevents.

Now booking into 2027 (with a few moments available this year too!) and would love to celebrate you at your event through custom signage mobile murals 🫶🏻

Hi all! For the past several months, I’ve been working on a fellowship through The Future of Us, and I’m excited to finally invite you into what we’ve been creating. As part of the SF Festival (July 4–12), my co-host and friend Isa and I have been exploring a question that feels especially relevant right now, “How might we reimagine rest, care, and accessibility for the future especially for those who spend so much of their lives caring for others?”

In a city often defined by urgency and burnout, we’re creating space for something different: joyful rest, lively connection, and community care. Clock out and join us for an afternoon of meditative guidance, poetry, conversation, music and celebration.

Open to all, this event is an opportunity to connect with community, support local artists and vendors, and experience what rest can look like when it’s rooted in joy, creativity, and shared experiences.

Over the past several months, we’ve had the privilege of working alongside incredible community members and local vendors who have generously shared their time, support, donations, and trust in this vision. We’re grateful for their partnership and excited to share this with you!

And that’s a wrap for Bouquets to Art Year 4! At the @deyoungmuseum ✴️ This year Beija Flor Designs @beijaflor.designs was inspired to hold space in the present moment. I designed our arrangement with fresh blooms I picked from @repettosnurseryandflorist . I chose stems that were still just buds at the start of the week so that as the flowers bloomed, the arrangement would be different than the day before, providing a unique moment for visitors each day.
The colors and textures of the vessel we were assigned gave us a feeling of calm & joy, a feeling we believe can only be achieved when you enjoy the simplicity of the exact moment you are living. Without the regrets of our pasts or the anxiety of our futures.
✴️”Our piece is inspired by the intentions of each color that is featured in this earthenware. Orange reminded us of joy and positivity, mixed with a small amount of teal, which is often used as a calming color. Together these colors remind us to stay present and enjoy the simplicity of each moment.” - as read on our inspiration statement. My thoughts but written by @28alliegator
