& yes i even put breadcrumbs throughout the pictures like “shifted” and “brave new me” (thanks to @marypoffenroth) so to continue… the brave new me figured out that some chapters don’t end because they failed… they end because they did what they were supposed to do. that season actually worked, it REALLY did.

but i also knew deep down i wasn’t going to be able to keep it up forever. the flood of new applicants. the energy it took. my toddler stopped napping. life was shifting whether i wanted it to or not. and i kept feeling this pull for something… quieter?

i just didn’t have words for it yet. and this is the part that still gives me chills.

during a mastermind exercise with @thatlauraaura (she was actually a guest on the podcast too), she had us close our eyes and picture the thing we wanted most. and then she said, “okay… now imagine nothing is stopping you.”

and immediately,
mine was a silent space.

not growth. not bigger numbers. not success. silence. and i remember sitting there thinking…why is that the thing i want? like it didn’t even make sense to me at the time. i just felt this deep craving for it. and later when we talked about it, we realized it wasn’t just silence.

it was space.

space for me. and now when i look at my life, it honestly makes me emotional. because sitting in my house now is this tiny little homemade booth that miguel built for me for narration. and guess what it is?

a space that’s mine..

and it hit me one day like… wait. this is the thing. this is what i saw before i even understood what i was seeing. none of it was random, it was all breadcrumbs. and somehow, they were leading me here the whole time🤍

ps. my toddler got ahold of my book @andra.larkin so pls tell me this is going to be a breadcrumb too🥴🤭

Some people heal quietly. She chose to heal out loud.

We talked about why she doesn’t hold back-
not because it’s easy

but because someone out there needs to hear “me too.”

If you’ve ever felt alone in your thoughts - this episode will hit.

I’ve never fit in a box… so naturally, my podcast doesn’t either 🤷‍♀️

It’s real conversations, unfiltered travel chat, and the messy, relatable parts of everyday life that follow you wherever you go.

Because no matter where you are, it’s the people who make the stories worth telling — the unexpected, hilarious, very real moments you never quite plan for.

2025 was the year that I started out as a girlfriend who rented her own apartment and ended a fiancé & homeowner. But even with all these wonderful things that happened this year, this year wasn’t perfect. It had flaws (which I won’t discuss here cause I want to remind positive here on this post) but the flaws made the good things that happened even more beautiful. Here’s a few of my favorites…

I got to watch two of my closest friends get married, one in Phoenix with a mariachi band and the other just steps outside of Disney World which gave me a good excuse to due a mini Disney trip. I had multiple work trips around the country, the best one being to Atlanta where I got to work and see family all at the same time. I also visited Atlanta a couple other times to see my three favorite people. I took as many trips as I could to Dewey Beach for some much needed sunshine. I went to Oregon and Washington to not only cross off two more states off my list (38 down and 12 more to go until I got all 50) BUT to drink some wine and go to some baseball games too. I also got to visit Pittsburgh, my hometown, to go to my first ever Steelers home game and to see the Penguins play again, ten years after I graduated from college.

Thank you to not only my fiancé and family for making this year so wonderful but to all my friends who live all over the country and world for making it the most special year even if it was mostly virtual this year. I truly cannot wait to hug each and every one of you at our wedding in the new year. Thank you all for the memories over the past year and I cannot wait for every moment 2026 will bring! I just know it’s going to be one of the best years of my life cause it’s the year I get to marry the most thoughtful man. 💙 #2025
